Durable
These whelping pads saved my life. My dog just gave birth to 9 puppies her first litter. Being that these babies are delicate, i was quite surprised how soft and tough these pads are. So easy to clean and dry to reuse when I change out the pool 3 times a day. Not absorbent
They are not very absorbent, once washed they ball up, plus puppies nails get stuck in these. I do not recommend.

Obviously I bought these pads because I have a little puppy who isnât outside trained, yet. Unbelievably, when he urinates on these pads, it puddles & of course, he immediately steps in it & tracks it all over the floor. Ugh! Frustrating but I didnât return them because they are the softest, fluffiest little rugs. They wash up perfectly. So, Iâm going to put them away & use them at a later time after my pup is outside trained as a mat for him to lay on (hopefully he wonât remember the original purpose).
