This toy is very multi-dimensional multiple ways to play. First of all, it can be treated as a puzzle, and put together the shape you like, and the track direction. After that, after putting batteries on the two cars, they can drive on the put-together track. This is very refreshing for the baby. Such a creative toy! Wide age range!
This is such a cool toy! My 5yr old can put the tracks together herself and make a bunch of different variations. My two year old needs me to put it together but loves playing with the cars on the tracks. The cars stay on surprisingly well! For the price this is a great find considering how expensive train track sets are and puzzles

Stop! Don’t waste your $$
I wanted to order the large set for my grandson (age 5), but decided to order one smaller set to see what they were like. So glad I did! The concept is great, but the quality is terrible! The plastic puzzle pieces are are thin and difficult to snap and unsnap. The designs/stickers on the pieces are extremely small (the people were .25″ tall) because each puzzle piece is small, barely a 2″ square. Four of these 2″ squares are snapped together to create a scene (there were 2 of each scene in the box). Three cars came with the set. 2 cars worked, the 3rd car is worthless as the back wheel assembly is backward – the car cannot run in reverse on the tracks as the “turning wheel” is in the front. Buyer beware… this is not a good toy for kids!

This is a cool toy. However, it’s a little small. You really need two sets to make it great.

Difficult to build and take the track apart.
This was one of those items that looked cool in the ad. But no fun when it arrives. Track was hard to put together and even more of a challenge taking it apart without breaking it. Very thin and the cars are light weigh causing them to roll right off the track. I wouldn’t buy this again.
