The feeder adds a nice touch to the backyard. It’s far enough away from any fence or tree so the squirrels can’t jump to it. And because of the tall slick pole, squirrels can’t jump from below……ha!

No sturdy at max length
Assembly wasnât too clear. Iâm using for my bird house with a camera and it didnât feel sturdy enough with all the poles. Leaving out one of the poles it did feel stable enough to hold it.

Goes together easily
This is a great pole for mounting a bird house. It is tall and goes together quickly and easily. And once together it is surprisingly sturdy. I really appreciate the prongs at the bottom which go a long way towards stabilizing the pole. You can mount a bird house on it in one of two ways–either perched on top or hooked to the side of the pole, or, I suppose, both if the houses are small and the birds are friends. The metal is pretty thick, which makes it sturdier too. We have cats in the neighborhood, so I don’t envision dropping the pole height down, but you can do that if you don’t need it to be so tall. So far I haven’t had any problems with it tipping, but we’ll see how it goes next spring.

Options and sturdy
I like that this pole gives you options for mounting, I find the post to be very strong. I live in Florida and we get some pretty good winds during the afternoon rain storms and this is holding up nicely. i certainly recommend it

4.5 Stars, Very Good but Not for Camera Feeders
This is a nice, heavy, 1â diameter bird feeder/house pole with prongs to make it securely stand in your yard. The pole seems strong and sturdy enough to support an average single access bird house, or average sized feeder. Anything too heavy or too large would risk the pole being a bit wobbly IMO. With that in mind, I still recommend this pole â but not for camera feeders (my original reason for ordering this product).. The poleâs design and mounting surface don’t easily allow a camera feeder to be mounted since camera feeders have an odd shape and an Wi-Fi antenna that need to be accommodated when you mount them. I appreciate that this pole is very versatile, so I can still use it in my yard for a small bird house or basic bird feeder.

Strong freestanding pole
This pole was easy to place into the ground and offers a sturdy base to prevent it from tipping over. The mounting plates are compatible with both bottom and back mounting of your birdhouse. If you donât want to hang your birdhouse from a tree, this offers a great option for a standalone mount in your yard or garden.
