Great heavy duty bird feeder hooks.
I love the heaviness and the 5 prong stakes of these hooks. They look great, hold the bird feeders without swaying like my prior hooks had. The hooks come in 5 pieces which you put together by twisting/screwing them together. I had a problem with connecting one piece, but after putting a little muscle into it, it came together just fine. There was a high wind blowing in the photo I used, and there was no swaying. They look great, the size was perfect, and I would purchase again.

Great to hang a wind chime in my backyard.
I recently received a wind chime for my yard. I needed it to hang in the yard so it will catch the wind. This works perfectly! It is the right size and is strong enough to hold this chime in high winds and doesnât fall over!

Wow! Yes, it’s just one hook but for the price?! It’s great! I bought 4 and will buy more. Solid metal with strong connection and easy to assemble. So tall that even tho my yard slopes down, I see the bird feeders out my windows. I am ordering more! Bought many others that last one season…cheap and rusty. They bend at the connection. Not these! Very sturdy and will last!

Solid and well-designed, but the hook is only 60.5 inches above the ground
It’s misleading to call this a 76-inch shepherd’s hook. Once all five prongs are all the way in the ground, the above-ground height of the hook is about 60.5 inches (see photo). The above-ground height of the hook is shown in one of the illustrations on the Amazon site, so it’s mostly my fault for not paying closer attention to details. That’s why I’m still giving this product 4 stars. It is made from solid steel rods and is well-designed and secure in the ground — not at all shaky or flimsy. Now comes the anti-squirrel test!!!

These are made from very thick pipe but the threaded inserts are a little weaker. I had one pole section bend at the threads and break out of the pipe. This was the only section that broke, so do take care assembling the Hooks. I contacted the company and heard back the next day. They sent me replacements immediately after i sent them photos of the damage. These Hooks have very long ground spikes and are sturdy and hold my bird feeders. They are well coated and look great. It is nice to work with a company that stands behind their products.

Buyer Beware. Doesn’t Always Have All Parts
This item is fine and works as expected. Easy to put together and sturdy enough for my needs. The only error I made was putting just one hook together and presuming all the other parts were in the box for the second hook.Several months later, and now needing the other hook, I put it together only to find I was missing one of the extension pieces. With no open return window and the typically useless support/service (both from Amazon and the seller) I was left with a silly looking stub of a hook.Don’t make my mistake. Check and assemble your home to be sure you weren’t shorted!
