Customers say

Customers find the pet toy keeps their dogs entertained and engaged. They find it a fun little toy that offers mental stimulation. However, some customers have issues with the size of the treats needed for the toy, as the holes are too tiny. They also mention that the treats don’t come out well, making it difficult to get them out. There are mixed opinions on durability, functionality, and value for money.

    Great for appropriately sized dogs
We got it when our puppy was 5lbs, she is a smart and busy dog so we fed most of her kibble out of it across the day to keep her (more or less) out of trouble. As she aged we have needed to feed her more, so it has become a supplemental tool for when she is bored. We use Purina Puppy Chow and the star shaped kibble is too big for the baffle so we sort the kibble and the stars go in her regular food bowl. She is 25lbs now and probably outgrowing it, but we will use it until she can fit the whole thing in her mouth then look for a bigger version of the same.

    DOGS LOVES THIS ONE
Our dogs love this toy. It rolls along and out pops a treat. We fill half full with dog food pieces. I only use one of the dividers & I covered one of the two output openings with masking tape. Too much was rolling out. Durability is a factor. The plastic ends have already cracked under the duress of enthusiastic dog chewing & one dog is geriatric with only gums. The price was good and I recommend overall. It will keep a dog busy but with extra treats might not be good for dogs with weigh issues.

Good for really little dogs, but that’s about it.
I have a Maine Coon cat that acts like a dog and is very playful and food motivated, so I decided I would try this.Disappointing mostly, but it does work as intended.First of all, it’s relatively heavy so they really have to push it to get the food out.Second, it will not take big kibble (which I have to use for my stupid cats who eat-purge-eat, so if I don’t use bigger kibble, they don’t chew it and make themselves sick). And that’s “big kibble for cats,” which for dogs is not actually that big. But I hauled out a bag of smaller kibble I sometimes mix in their big food to actually try it. Anything with a diameter in any direction over about 3/8” won’t fit. That’s more like standard cat food size.Third, it doesn’t make any sounds or anything, because the rattle is muffled by the labyrinth mostly. In using it, they’ll eat the kibble if something else moves the toy and a piece falls out (ooh, random piece of food on the floor) but they don’t connect the food with the toy being the source, but they won’t chase or boop at the toy because it doesn’t seem that interesting to a cat.If you have a small dog that has a mouth small enough that it can’t chew off the end, it might be good.Overall, 3 stars, understanding that if I had a small dog as the pictures show, maybe it’d work, but, would not buy again. I know I was using it for cats, and not dogs, as intended, but even if I had a dog I’d think this was overpriced and kinda boring for what you get. A big dog would just see the toy as a challenge to get the end off, and would just chew off the end.

Much better than the ball dispensers!
Before this purchase I bought a ball dispenser for a couple dollars less. It lasted about 3 sessions before it broke apart and my dog started chewing on the hard plastic. So I thought I’d try a different style. This dumbbell shaped kibble dispenser is way better! It’s much more durable and you can feel the quality. The ends are rubber so if it bangs into something it’s not loud or destructive. My 60 lb dog can comfortably “nose it along” from the middle to roll it, or paw it toward him, as well as pick it up to bring back to the middle of the room. So he has control over spinning it, flipping it, and carrying it. We use small size kibble that works well. I took out one of the labyrinths for the first session to give him an easy introduction. Then had both labyrinths in the second time which offered the perfect dispensing frequency to keep him busy but not frustrated. I give it 5 stars and am thinking about buying more for gift giving. It’s winter and our dogs are bored!Update: One month later, still in great shape after about 20 sessions. Love it!

A Treatful Dilemma: A Review of the Short-lived Dog Toy
I recently purchased a dog toy that promised to entertain my furry friend with treats while providing hours of playtime. While the concept was delightful, I couldn’t help but feel disappointed by its durability.Upon introducing the toy to my canine companions, they were immediately drawn to the tempting scent of treats hidden inside. Watching them eagerly interact with the toy was heartwarming, and it did manage to keep them engaged for a few minutes. However, the joy was short-lived as I noticed the toy getting chewed up rather quickly. Despite its sturdy appearance, it couldn’t withstand the enthusiasm and determination of my dog’s chewing. Within just a few minutes of play, the toy’s material started showing signs of wear and tear, leaving me concerned about potential safety hazards. While I appreciate the toy’s interactive design and treat-dispensing feature, I cannot overlook its lack of durability. It simply couldn’t withstand the rigorous playstyle of my canine companion. If your dog is a light chewer or enjoys gentler play, this toy might still be a viable option. However, for pups with strong chewing tendencies, I would caution against this particular product. In conclusion, the treat-filled dog toy showed potential for entertainment and engagement, but its short lifespan and vulnerability to chewing were disappointing. I would recommend exploring other more durable options available in the market to ensure both your dog’s enjoyment and safety during playtime.

    I wanted it to work
I should have listened to other reviews, but I have a ShihTzu and thought it would be suitable for a smaller dog. I cannot recommend this product – I have let him use it only twice and both times he had all the treats in no time, then chewed and cracked the screw on caps – it is NOT durable

I bought this for my border collie puppy and she LOVES it!!!! By far the best toy she has (even when the kibble runs out) we do have hardwood timber floors so it can be noisey (especially when she throws it at the wall) but hey it’s plastic and doing a Fantastic job of keeping her occupied and entertained!Super sturdy product too!

I ordered the small for my five pound mini-fox terrier. It’s the right level of stimulating for her and keeps her entertained for tens of minutes at a time, providing much needed breaks for my wife and I.

Very good but make sure you close the side tightly because it can get loose as your dog is playing with it.
