My dog loves this toy! We have had it for awhile now and still works great, just be careful with soggy dog balls they can get caught, not too bad for noise you get use to it, easy for my dog to use, it can really chuck the ball so be careful in the house, it also has 3 different speeds.

When your life revolves around balls!
When you have a young puppy, that is very active, this is the toy that I highly recommend. This is the second one weâve purchased and we bought the extended warranty with this one which I highly recommend also. She plum wore out the first one so we purchased the second one with extra balls. They always need extra balls because theyâre getting lost. This launcher is very versatile because it can throw 3 feet, 5 to 10 feet and about 15 to 20 feet and I recommend only in the house. It is both battery operated and plug-in. My only complaint is that it is too lightweight. We had to use heavy duty Velcro and tape it to a board to keep it from shooting all over the house from her ping at it. Other than that, itâs how the dog slobber is enough to gunk up the machine. I canât even imagine if he added dirt and grass to it. Overall I will keep purchasing if she wears this one out also. Overall I give it a rating of A+++

Great with annoying flaw
Dog absolutely loves this thing. The biggest problem is the machine is impossible to keep in the same position. Itâs so lightweight(cheap?) that it has to be repositioned every time it tosses a ball. The âfeetâ are a joke and pointless.

Too Bad
One of my 3 small dogs LOVES to play fetch. He lives for it. So I thought this would be a fun toy. Nope.Unfortunately I couldn’t train him to use the machine by himself, only when I would drop the ball in.The machine itself only half-works. I thought I could use any of my tennis balls with this machine which are the same exact size as the balls that come with it, however you can only use the 3 balls that come with it as per the instructions, and trying other balls proved they are correct, it doesn’t work. Other balls are too firm and don’t work. So once your dog chews up the 3 balls the machine is useless. I guess the manufacturer probably sells the balls for a steep price but I’m not going to even bother looking as I don’t use this thing.Also it doesn’t consistently shoot out the balls, sometimes it shoots quite well, other times they just dribble out a few feet because the ball is not grabbed consistently by the wheels inside. Sometimes one of the wheels will grab the ball more and just spin the ball too much instead of pushing it out evenly on both sides.

(Comes w 3) 2 mos since it came, has seen rigorous daily use and still works great.i have a ball-crazed Cavalier that lives to play fetch. She’s fascinated by her “machine”, as we call it. Amazes and thrills. Fun twist on a classic game.

I spent an hour typing up a review, and it was deleted when I tried to check on something on a different app, so this will be a lot shorter! My JRT loves this launcher, but it would be much better if it was easy to clean. The slobber, felt, and other stuff gets in the way, causing the machine to not work as well. The farthest the balls ever went was 20 feet, but not for long. The machine is also pretty loud, especially in an apartment. It would be great if there was a way to reduce that noise. It would be great if there was a rechargeable battery that came with it. Expect to get a lot of balls (it really doesnât matter as much which ones you use, as long as they are the same size and general make up), especially if your dog likes to break them down. Other than that, watch out for your dog liking it more than anything!

Great machine Weak tennis balls
I love the machine – does what is says it is supposed to do. Our Yorkie loves to play. The noise it makes does not bother him. The only thing I have a problem with is that the tennis balls that come with the machine are thin and weak. One ball lasts a play period. Have gone through 9 balls since Christmas. Maybe our Yorkie is rough on the ball, but a tougher ball would be nice.
