The perfect hair dryer
I researched hair dyers before I bought the AirLight Pro. I hesitated because of the cost but all of the better hair dryers are about the same price. It was delivered at my front door at 5:20 am this morning. I got ready for church and used my new investment. My hair was less frizzy however, I am not great with using a round brush to dry my hair. I am still pleased with the results. Using the dryer only one time I am glad I purchased it. The display of setting is kind of small but that does not change how I feel about the overall performance of the dryer. So if you are wavering on which dryer to buy, I encourage you to read the reviews of other brands of dryers then make your decision based on what you are looking for. I really think you will be happy with this dryer.

For thirty plus years I have avoided drying my naturally curly hair because well, I lose my curls and tend to get frizzy instead. Thus I let it dry naturally and well that isn’t always convenient nor does it give me the finished look I would like.Then this hair dryer – if you can call it that – came into my life… and wow.. so super cool I am giddy. After my shower I gave this a try starting with the diffuser on… heaven. It lifted my hair from my scalp and made it look fully and thicker. What is really cool – the diffuser just pops on and holds tight with magnets. It feels great on your head.I then tried the direct attachment and it was impressive. Perfect for getting a controlled curl or straightening my hair – and with this blower – I don’t get frizzy. Pulled that attachment off and just went for the plain old blower..Holy smokes.. so much power that I had my husband come to see how much air it moved. It dries hair so quickly making it a perfect choice for my daughter in law when she visits because her hair is super long and incredibly thick.This is super impressive and my hair feels and looks fantastic.. no frizz. The heat is different – deep. It was thirty six today at home and I had come in from the barn for a shower. I was chilled and even a hot shower didn’t fully warm me up. Our house is a bit drafty. As I said earlier I generally don’t blow dry my hair. I live in cold country and have had my hair freeze… not comfortable at all but it beats the frizz for the rest of the day.Well I am a changed woman.. Under five minutes and my hair is dry with this blower without the frizz… and I love the red light and use it for therapy on my back. I don’t know what magic they pulled off with this but dang. It sure converted me.The best part – it has been several hours and my head still feels nice and my hair looks great – without even curling it. I couldn’t ask for more in a hair dryer.. very impressive and well done. Quality all the way around even with the extra long cord and GFI plug. Remarkable.

Light and Easy to Use
I got this hair dryer, after some curiosity about trying the new infrared light technology. My initial testing has been very positive.WEIGHTThe hair dryer is really light, compared to traditional dryers. It’s a noticeable difference. It also has a smaller footprint, with a shorter head span.NOISEThis dryer is a notable improvement in noise level, and the nature of its noise. The overall volume is lower, again as compared to a traditional dryer. I can have a conversation with someone while using it. The noise is also less harsh. The only sound coming from this dryer is air pushing through the machine. There is no high-pitched motor noise.CONSTRUCTIONThe construction is done really well. All parts are solidly built, with an overall impression of quality . The feel of the handle is smooth and comfortable. And the weight of the machine is well-balanced, with the handle positioned to maneuver the machine freely.Magnetic attachments allow the diffuser and “concentrator” to snap into place in exactly the right position, with no real effort.The power cord is made of heavier material than my previous traditional dryers. This prevents twisting and kinking during storage.EASE OF USEFor simple operation, there are just a couple of easy-to-use controls. The power switch is right on the handle where your fingers naturally end up. There is one button to adjust fan speed, and one other button to switch the air from hot to cold. If you just want to run the dryer with straightforward heat, at different fan speeds, that’s all you need to know.There are additional controls to make the dryer match your hair type, and there is the ability to connect this dryer to a phone via the related app. For our use, we have not seen a need for these additional functions yet.EFFECTIVENESSThe dryer works very well. It dries hair effectively and quickly, better than traditional dryers. It’s still an open question whether this dryer causes less hair damage than traditional machines. I’ll report back on that detail after more usage!CONCLUSIONThis is a terrific hair dryer — a big difference in effectiveness, build quality, and ease of use over traditional dryers. As I await a longer-term assessment, my first response is to highly recommend it.
