Great
Opened the case and was surprised at the size. Was just the size I need. Plenty of space for this pocket size baby puppy. So energetic needing space to hop. Material is thin with thin netting, but metal ribs help it to stand. Zipper is not heavy but okay. Instructions to spray vinegar on sides to prevent tendency of chewing helpful information.

THIS IS A GREAT ITEM AND HOLDS UP SO WELL WITH THE ABUSE MY 4 MONTHS OLD KITTEN PUT IT THRU—its such a big help for smaller babies and im sure would work for a puppy too………….so easy to clean and light weight and STURDY TOO……….my kitten tore only one tiny area and hes 4 months old so it lasts a LONG TIME and just put some gorilla tape on the torn spot and its still goo to go…………..easy to put up as it folds back into a small bundle box it or bag it and you can use it again later as you need it…would buy again and do recommend it as a great useful buy…………GREAT PRODUCT WORTH THE MONEY AND WELL MADE……..

Pretty good but not durable
We purchased this for our 2 yr old bearded dragon to use when we take him anywhere with us. Itâs working pretty great, but the zippers are poor quality, and the seam is tearing from the zipper after just a few uses. Let me qualify by saying that our beardie has climbed to the top and hung, and I doubt it was designed to hold any weight. His claws are long but heâs very gentle, so heâs not scraping at the sides or anything. It does the job to give him some space to run around when we are away from home. We put food and water in it along with a cuddle hut with a heater pad, and heâs very happy in there. Sometimes he just wants to be with us, and thatâs when he climbs up to hang. I donât see this being effective for an animal with teeth or larger claws, but if your animal is calm and wonât scratch at the walls, it should work totally fine. Overall, this was a good solution for us but itâs definitely not high quality.

Pop open instant playland for our bunny.
Whoever thought this up was a genius. I looked at a few of these playpens before I settled on this one. This is built very well. We put this up in our living room and we bought a collapsible three tube tunnel system for the bunny to play in.Our bunny is two months old she scratches at it but has yet to tear it. She nibbles at it but doesn’t hurt it. She runs around zooming and binkys alot. She stands up and leans on the top but it is built so stout it doesn’t collapse. We. Leave the top open to watch her play. The top zippered roof can hang off the side as it is attached. So you never have to go looking for it. It zips up easy as well. She has made messes in it but it can be wiped up pretty easily. After three days of use we gave it a wash in our clothes washer. We have a open lower agitator washer. So I fold it in a triangle and set it for a regular wash. By the time it gets spun dry I simply set it out open for an hour and it’s clean and dry. It looked like brand new.

Great idea but lacking in some features
I got this for my 2 guinea pigs and it works very well for when they need some outside the cage time. It is large enough for the both of them to run around easily. I got the zippered top which is great to keep my other animals from jumping in, but does present a bit of a pain to try and unzip. There is no zipper holder and the zipper feature itself is super thin and mine already has some separating on the one end. If the zipper breaks I won’t be able to use it. I wish there was a velcro or something at the top that you could roll the zipper top onto while pulling the animals in and out. It just falls into the cage area where it is likely to get ripped. The mesh itself on the sides is very easy to rip if you’re not careful and I worry a bit about the guinea pigs nails catching on it or the cats scratching at it from the outside. The other problem with the top is that the hole is right in the middle of the pen. This makes it hard when you want to just turn it upside down outside or in a garbage can to get all the animal poo out. It would be easier to do that instead of getting on my knees and bending over to clean the inside each time. The fabric is lightweight and I loved it came in a little bag. I have had no issues with chewing from my animals, but agree with other comments that this material will definitely be chewed through quickly. Unfortunately I was most disappointed with the “waterproof” claim, it is not. I clean the pen everytime the guinea pigs are in it because the pee soaks right into the fabric, although there is some that sits on top that I can just soak up with a paper towel. I would say the material is more like water resistant jackets where the first few drops of rain bead off, but then you get soaked. This product is easy to clean, I can just throw it outside and hose it off and let it air dry (although remember about the circle opening at the top, getting any debris or large pieces of anything out is a challenge). It is easily portable, I can move it from one room to the next. For the most part is has sufficed for what I bought it for, but am worried on how long is will really last. I’d love to see some more improvements to indoor/outdoor small animal enclosures.Update November 2020-zipper on top came off as I suspected it might and one guinea pig did end up biting a piece of the netting on the side which created a hole that soon spread. This only last 2 full months for me, I’ll be looking for something more durable next time.

I bought this playpen for my rabbit to play in when I clean his cage, I realized it was not waterproof at all, It would only keep messes on the surface and would then absorb into the fabric if not cleaned up immediately . Although I know it was a pretty cheap buy altogether it did not last at all! My rabbit completely ran through the side of this playpen! Itâs great if you use it here and there and have an eye on your pet! Do not buy If you have very active animals that also have accidents often.

Great pop up brooder or play pen for animals! Good size and completely enclosed. Can’t fault it. Comes with a bag to store it in so it isn’t popping up all over the place and can wipe it clean which is handy. Plenty of ventilation.

This playpen was prefect for introducing my kitten to my older cat. I put the kitten inside and they were able to interact through the screened sides, until my cat became comfortable with the kitten. My cat was not aggressive toward the kitten and only growled and hissed, so it created a sense of security for my cat that the kitten was “contained”. The cat also enjoyed getting inside the playpen to get used to the kittens scent – would definitely recommend this playpen for this purpose. It is not an overly sturdy playpen though, as my cat can move it around easily when inside, and he likes to flatten the sides when entering and exiting the playpen.
