It was easily available. I couldn’t find metal scoops at any of the 6 stores I inquired to.
I will use these items for dry cat food and cat litter. Really wanted metal and all that are available here were plastic which would not have been strong enough, especially for the litter. They are light in weight to fit comfortably in a senior’s hand. Thank you!

Sturdy and high quality
Strong and high quality, I use them for gardening I bought this to scoop soil into pots while repotting but it’s lasted longer longer than most of my actual garden tools so now I use them for everything in the garden ð

Very cold to handle if you use for ice
Great scoops for anything but ice. They get very cold to the touch if you keep them in the freezer or in ice.

Not dishwasher safe
If you run these through the dishwasher, they will get a weird tarnish and that tarnish comes off on your hands and in your food I was trying to use the large one as an ice cream scoop and had to throw the ice cream away because the tarnish came off in the ice cream. The one on the left has just been sitting in a bag of ice the one on the right went through the dishwasher

I put them through a wash when I got them, they came out looking like antiques. Very poor quality, I threw them away before using them, do not purchase

Not good at all, do not put these in dish washer, I just threw them away… they had some sort of chemical reaction in the dishwasher and some black charcoal stuff covered them.
