Love these!!!!
These cages are so nice I came back and bought a second one!! It takes two people to put them together so one person holds it up while the other person snaps it together. Nothing hard about it. Takes less than 5 minutes. I use mine on the front porch for my cats little vacation time away from the inside world during the day only. Never leave cats outside in this cage AT NIGHT! It wasnât designed for that because a wild animal like a raccoon will go after food in the cage possibly attacking your cat then rabies could happen. A raccoon can put its little hands through this cage. I use mine outside during the day under my watchful eye by our front door. Itâs nighttime predators that you should be concerned about. You would need a cage with tighter wiring for night. Like screen. Totally great for indoor use and attractive!! Sturdy. We used pliers to tighten the snaps. We will be moving in a bit so itâs very easy to take apart and fold. You can also decorate it any way you like! Itâs so cute and itâs large!!! Enough space for the litter box. Itâs also really easy to clean!!! I just lift the shelves out easily and put them in my tub and wash and spray them down so thereâs never an odor or hair! Wipe dry.Or you could use the water hose or simply wipe it down. Easy peasy!!! Iâm getting ready to roll one into the back bedroom for 3 feral kittens that I have to chase down and catch! Yes it has wheels that have brakes!! Everybodyâs happy!! My babies love it!! And if my babies are happy then Mamaâs happy!!! It keeps my kittens from jumping all over my better half as well!! lol. Great buy!! Twice!!! Will purchase another one after we move. These cages have definitely made my life easier. : )

Sturdy
Relatively easy to put together. Sturdy and well made. Very convenient for the feral/stray kittens that we foster to help them acclimate to indoor living. There’s room for a litter box on the bottom. We also added hanging hammocks and kennel dishes on the side. I would definitely purchase again. I also love that it folds up for storage. When folded, I would say it is about the size of a large folded dog kennel. Great for saving space. I also love the wheels. Makes it really easy to move around to clean underneath.

I have purchased hundreds of things on Amazon and hardly ever review anything but I had the write this one. I rescued a stray (maybe a little feral, or a dumped housecat, not sure). She is a doll but when she get’s the zoomies she’s a wreck. Nothing is safe. She also like’s to get out, or tries to every time a door opens, even though she hates outside. I was searching for the best enclosure and even though this did not come with a litter box I went with it anyway. SO GLAD I DID!I added bowls that attached to the side, her original litter box, a cat bed and her personal favorite, a hammock. We had this a few days now and she’s in it a lot. I move it all around the different rooms and the wheels work really well. Plus, they lock.It needs 2 people to put it together because one person has to hold up the top while the other secures the clasps (like a dog crate). It’s very easy to set up.I’ve read reviews of other enclosures complaining about needing zip ties and so forth, but not with this one. It feels very secure, and it’s sort of heavy. I’m comfortable with it in the center of the room. She can’t knock it over no matter how hard she jumps.If your on the fence, believe me when I say I read hundreds of reviews and this is the one.

8/22/20:Update: This is working great for kitten who is now about 5 months old. We got a scratching post that can be attached to the wall so he’s got something to scratch on (https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B078NRWCH1/ref=ppx_yo_dt_b_asin_title_o05_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1; thanks for those posting images with reviews – these have helped identify options!). He uses it every time he wakes up & just before he comes out and it’s saving the furniture. And it’s holding up well and attaches very well to the cage.He eats, drinks, uses the litter box, and sleeps in this thing. We put a hammock up top a couple days after setting this up and he took to that immediately. He’s very content in the cage.6/10/20: We got this for a kitten as a replacement for a dog carrier (solid sided) so it would have more room & vertical space. Thank you to those who answered our questions – it helped us decide on this product.4 out of 5 stars for some minor fit/finish issues.This arrived & went up easily with two people. It is a heavy box. There are no instructions as others have mentioned but it’s pretty intuitive once you get started. Just watch your fingers as you fold it out & snap it together and double check that you’ve got all the hooks done up. It’s a single piece that’s folded on itself (which we like). It’s really quite ingenious how it works.We secured each side at four points with cord-wrap velcro strips for extra security (see photo). The two month old kitten cannot get through any of the openings. The slots are two fingers wide max (see photo).The shelves go on sturdily and the trays are well thought out & fit securely. One tray was cracked (see photo) and I contacted Amazon and they had a replacement tray on it’s way to me within 15 minutes. Great customer service.We did have one bend in one wire on top (see photo). It’s not a structural problem, but is annoying, but not worth sending back & hoping the next one has no worse issues based on reviews.The bottom tray has some dings in (see photo), maybe from shipping based on the linear pattern, but again, they don’t seem more than cosmetic. If that changes, will update the review.We are happy with the door locks & they could be secured beyond the latches if desired (e.g., a carabiner, velcro, etc.). The top latch mechanism does appear a little worn (see photo), although the enclosure does not appear used. Likely finish wear from shipping.We did not put the casters on so can’t speak to that aspect at this time.We are letting the kitten get used to the enclosure for a few days before using it as an enclosed area unsupervised. Will update when we have more use info.

I have been using those octagon-shaped pet “tents” on my back deck for over a year and our two boys like being outside in them, but it wasn’t great. Our more active boy wasn’t happy in them for long, and our more docile boy would get spooked the way they would buckle in the breeze. It was a neverending cycle of them crying to go in but then crying to get out again in a few minutes. I wanted something they would be happy to stay in for a while, while I tend to my garden. Neither seemed happy to be on ground level – they are cats and they like to climb. So I was searching for a budget friendly option and came across this catio, on sale during amazon prime day. I was hesitant to spend so much but I’m so glad I did! Our boys are MUCH happier in this cage. Even though they have less floor space than in the octagon they seem much happier as they can climb and see over the railing. They both seem to enjoy it more and without the tent walls they feel less constricted and are therefore happier to stay in it for a longer period of time before crying to be let out. The construction is pretty sturdy and was easy to put together. I am happy that they are happy!! â¤ï¸

Cela fait plusieurs fois que je dois transporter cette cage pour divers minous.Je peux donc dire qu’elle est vraiment très facile à monter et à replier. Elle est spacieuse et sécurisée, c’est mieux pour des chats pas très socialisés.Pour une utilisation occasionnelle comme je le fais, elle est vraiment bien avec ses différents niveaux. Cela permet de séparer les zones litières-nourriture-dodo.En ce qui me concerne, je ne regrette pas cet achat qui correspond tout à fait à l’utilisation que j’en fais. Par contre, il est évident qu’un chat ne peut y rester longtemps, ce serait de la maltraitance.
