Does a good job of collecting litter, but does allow some to track
I’ve had a few of these mats for my various litter boxes.They aren’t fancy, but they function as intended and catch most of the litter my cats track in and out of the litter box.I don’t think you can ever catch 100% of any litter, but this catches a lot of it.I’ve always had the brown option because it complements my vinyl flooring.The design is good and has little loops to catch on my cat’s paws and help get the litter off of them.The size is perfect for a little box or even to go beneath a litter box if cabinet.The materials are also nice because they’re easy to clean.It’s a good mat if you don’t need anything fancy, want something functional, and don’t want to break the bank.

Thought it was great at first
So in the beginning, this was great. It was really big, It was strong, it looked fine. Well, my cat is older now she’s 14 and once in a while I think she’s just hanging over the box in the wrong direction and she pees on the floor. That’s why I bought the big mat. My husband kept saying he smelled pee, so we tried to investigate. We removed the cat litter box and he picked up the mat, which is very big and when he picked it up because it’s not absorbing, a puddle of dark brown old pee poured off of the mat, all into my carpet. It must’ve been hidden because neither one of us saw the pee in the mat, so I guess if you have a very neat cat, it would be an OK mat. So now I’m not sure what to buy
