Best purchase for my Basenji
This is the best money I’ve spent so far for my 17 pound 6 month old Basenji puppy! She loves to watch out of the front window and this perch makes it easier for her to do so, and saves our couch cushions in the process. This was super easy to set up and JUST fit my windows. It’s very sturdy and in the week it’s been up we haven’t had any issues with it coming off or collapsing under her weight. The sling isn’t very thick and our windowsill sticks out about halfway across it, but I folded up an old bath towel on top of it for her to lay on and she seems to like that a lot better. I may invest in a pad instead so it’s a little less jenky looking but this works for now. I’m very happy with this purchase and may get another one for my side window!

This is fantastic! Cat loved it immediately and itâs very nice quality. Sturdy metal and wood frame, my cat is HEAVY and it holds him secure…no issues. The medium was very small, I did not take into account how much space the wooden sides actually took away from the laying space in the measurements. But you definitely want the xl, itâs the perfect size for cat comfort. I love how secure it fits to the window with out having to screw into the wall or sill. I originally planned to paint the wood white to match the window but itâs a very pretty natural wood color with grain so Iâm going to leave it. The paw cutout detail is a nice touch and super cute. The Velcro is thick and supportive …also the hammock sits above the sill so even when laying the cat doesnât touch the edge of the sill underneath for max hammock comfort. The only thing is I think there should be a buy replacement fabric hammock option, âbiscuit makingâ is pulling at the fuzz. I donât think it will hold up to that long term. So I will probably have to make a cover to save it. Also it would be nice to have an extra hammock to trade out while washing one.I saw others with the adjustable knobs on the sides rather then the top of the wood supports and that would have been better. Cat tryâs to hit them and knock them off 𤣠But itâs very easy to put together and install quickly. All the parts are good quality, for the affordable price point it doesnât feel âcheapâ.A side note I have double windows in the standard plastic variety but the metal hooks slide in easy with no damage, I did hook it in the center of them both so each window holds the weight of one side to distribute the weight more evenly with my cat being on the heavy side, I worried about one window supporting it all and cracking the plastic window edge it clips inside. No reflection on this product just that Iâm not sure how well made the window is.

I like the simplicity of it. I have a 9 mos. old that’s long & slinky & a chonky one who thinks she’s slinky lol I bought 2, my chonky girl fit on them just fine, it’s sturdy, easy to install, seems they’re comfortable and I was happy with the price.

I have bought two of these already and my cats absolutely love it. They are sturdy and easy to put together. You just hang it from the window and youâre good to go. Your windows still opens and shuts like normal and there are no marks or damage done to the wall. you could put them in any window and they are easy to take on and off and The padding is washable They work for Kittens and adult size cats to comfortably spread out and sleep. Padding is pretty thick and secure to give kitty the support they need My cats sleep play, and jump in and out of it all day long. Only downside Iâve had is I really wish they would make it so you could buy the padding separately because everybody wants to play with the kitties when theyâre in it and the cats attack you through the padding and Their claws start to tear it up and I really donât want to have to buy a whole new one just for the padding. Otherwise, I think itâs absolutely great

XL Window Perch vs Two 12lb Cats
I bought the XL thinking both my 12lb cats could fit since it claims to hold 40lbs. Perfect for one of them but when the other jumps on, you can hear the fabric/Velcro pull. Do the mathâ¦it shouldnât be a problem. Howeverâ¦While the brackets and hooks themselves seem very capable of holding 40lbs, the capacity of the structure really comes down to its weakest link, which is the Velcro. And the strength of the Velcro is a function of how much of the surface area of the Velcro is connecting. Itâs hard to keep it taught with 100% of the Velcro strips in contact with each other bc every time the cats jump on it, the Velcro pulls a little. So far, itâs been okay for one cat, but will definitely be keeping an eye on the Velcro. In hindsight, I wish I had bought two smaller ones.ATTN MANUFACTURERS!!DESIGN CONSIDERATION: I understand the convenience of the Velcro for being able to remove the fabric for cleaning, but if the pockets for the poles were sewn, it would be a lot stronger and just as easy to remove the perch from the window and unscrew one bracket to slide the fabric off. (I mean, how often am I really going to wash this when I can remove the cat hair with a lint roller?) However, an idea for adding to the cleanablity of the fabric (with the pockets sewn) would be to have a removable, machine washable layer (like a pad or little blanket ) that would attach to the original hammock. THAT would be where velcro would be appropriate.Otherwise, itâs a simple and minimal way to allow your cat a window seat. Easy to move if you need it out of your way, and I like that it uses simple physics to mount to the window w/o the need for suction cups or drilling.

Our Kitty’s LOVE it!
Our old suction cup window hammock was starting to degrade and the suction cups would keep falling off, so we replaced it with this one and it is so much better! This is very sturdy and easily holds the combined weight of our 2 cats (about 22 lbs combined.) Plus, with this type of hammock we can actually open the window it’s placed in without removing it like we had to with our suction cup hammock. Easy to setup, very safe and great value. Also don’t worry, the plant our black cat is nibbling on in the video is a spider plant which is not toxic to cats.

I am very happy with this purchase, very nice hammock , my cat is very happy.I have 2 hammocks in the house, one with strings and one with suction, with this one I can close the blinds, with the other ones I cannot do that.The only downside is that you need to use a window that you don’t open very often.

Edit: Sadly it started to get wobbly after few weeks of use, trying to tied screws more didn’t helped, my cat fell on the floor with it, scartmy and disappointing.I’ve got smaller one at first, for one of my cats, who is a notorious door jumper, what sometimes could end up badly, so for my cat’s safty and my peace of mind I thought of that attached cat bed as a solution, as obviously cat’s love high places and I wanted him to be safe and happy. Since day one, my both cats were trying to fit into smaller version so I found THIS, and both of my cats are crazy about these beds attached to the top of two doors, no regrets ðð©¶ð¤ð¾

I purchased this product last autumn (September) and it was sturdy at that time.I waited to see until how long this sturdiness lasts.Now, it is the following spring (June) and it is quite loose and I need to change it.I came back to my order and checked when I purchased this product, and it turned out this product’s sturdiness does not last for a year!
