Just got it but like it so far.
Canât say it lasts forever cuz I just got it but it does seem durable enough to last. My 17lb boys took to it immediately, so well that I thought Iâd leave this review as I am here to purchase another one so I can get both boys going together without them chasing/fighting over the same one lol! I actually think Iâll keep one in the truck for park runs and one at home for the yard.Itâs true! They wear out way faster than I do! Only thing, I find myself spinning in a circle and getting dizzy lol itâs not good for someone with vertigo⦠I learned pretty quickly to just swing it over and around my head. Different ways of playing with it⦠they love it even when itâs not moving and they just chew on it.Handle might be heavy for some with smaller/weaker wrists, otherwise I appreciate how sturdy it is. Retract in if itâs too much with it all the way, reduces tension on your wrist.Maybe Iâll update with posting a video idk weâll see.I recommend you try this though. It is a good time waiting to be had for you and pup (or any other animal you play with) bonding time.Remember, itâs getting hot. Donât play too long/hard and keep water and shade nearby. Enjoy.

Great toy to get energy out of your dog
Love this toy. My border Collie puppy loves this toy and plays really rough with it and it has held up well. The rope toy is what I bought but am thinking about getting more kinds since they get dirty quickly and you can replace them to wash the dirty ones.

Poorly constructed but great concept!
We have 5 month old American Bully/Pit mix pups who are heavy chewers. I (wife) took pups out and they love this toy. They go nuts when they see it.I cannot give it 5 stars for several reasons however. The problems I have with it could be remedied with a better design. One problem is having it extended, the handle is suppose to lock. Unfortunately it does not so I have to keep extending it back out. A solution to this defect would be to make the locking mechanisms using the push buttons similar to a camera tripod.The second problem I have is the rope comes unraveled too quickly and easily. Solution, make the rope tighter like the knotted rope toys. It would be ok if you have a soft mouth gentle dog. But for heavy chewers and pups/dogs who like playing tug-a-war, teeth get stuck in the rope too easily. And to bring them near to get their teeth out of the rope, I feel like itâs going to come apart if theyâre pulling back on it like tug-a-war.The third problem I have is the durability. The handle and extensions feel like itâs cheaply made. I canât tell if the handle is metal or plastic and am afraid of it breaking or bending during playtime. Solution, make it with metal material (possibly titanium) and still be lightweight.And finally, the fourth problem (personally), is I feel like the handle part is a bit too short to use with highly active and/or big dogs. With the handle fully extended, my pup is about 2-3 feet away from my body. If you have a powerful/muscular dog running around with this, the likeliness of being ran into can be high. The only time I feel my pup has decent spacing from me is having the rope swinging all the way out, which means having to maneuver it around at a fast pace. Doing this looses my pups attention causing lack of interest until itâs slowed down.Overall, the concept is great which I love for exercising your pooch. But the durability is not there for this product. So concept gets 5 stars. Durability is under par and might rate 3 stars max. I would not recommend this unless it was better made.

Good for the 1 day it lasted haha
My dog loved this toy and had so much fun with it but he broke it within 24 hours of having it. Heâs a 10 month old german shepherd so heâs very strong. Iâd say this toy is actually very sturdy and would be great for a smaller dog or a puppy. If you have a bigger dog thatâs very strong I probably wouldnât recommend. Itâs a very good toy tho Iâm sure your pup will absolutely love it if he isnât as strong as a dang moose

This is a solid, durable fun to use chase, catch, and kill type tug toy for your dog. It’s basically like fishing for your dog and then reeling him in. Good and sturdy
This is super sturdy and nice that it is compact, but I realized I was getting major wrist pain from it when my dog would catch it and it would jolt my arm. I had a different brand a long time ago and the stick flexed a little bit more so it didn’t jar my arm all of the time. This one hasn’t broken but I’m on the fence if I should get another one as I’m tired of the lingering wrist pain due to the inflexibility. I’ve tied a bungee cord loop between the toy and the rope and that absorbs some of the shock, but it’s not perfect, but its helped a lot.

I received an used item. It was dirty and teeth marks on the handle. I am not sending it back because my dog got one of the rope tail and was chewing it so I will not return it as an used item the second item. Just wanted to express my dissatisfication.
