An excellent placemat for my dog’s dishes
I have a very small space to put my dog’s dishes and every mat I looked at to go under them was so Big! I thought this might be too small when I ordered it, but it is the perfect size for two dog dishes and to contain the spills he causes (I do have to say that he’s not one that lifts his muzzle from the water dish dripping with water–I had a dog like that and I don’t know if this would have contained her messes). I like that it has a little lip, water doesn’t just slide off it onto the floor. The silicone keeps the water on the mat so it’s easy to mop up if there’s too much (usually I just leave it and it dries). And it’s super easy to clean–I just wipe it off with a damp rag. If I don’t want it out when guests come, I just roll it up and put it under the sink. This little mat works perfectly for my dog and the space I have for his dishes.

This product works fine but it isnât exactly what I thought I was getting, but Iâm not too mad at it. It is a thinner product than I thought it would be and is very flimsy. The color is also lighter than I expected but it still works for me. The lip has helped keep water off of my floors and protect them. It does clean very easily because it is a silicone material.

Easy to clean
I got this mat in two colors for both of my kitties who are very messy eaters. I wanted something silicone so I could clean their messes, and this is perfect! Iâm used to the sponge-like material that is impossible to clean & just absorbs water. I just use dish soap to clean this and dry it with a towel. Love it

It serves it’s purpose
The lip/edge is more shallow than I thought it would be. It might keep a few dribbles of water from rolling off onto the floor, but not necessarily a slosh of water or big spill. It is soft and bendy, like rubber, it rolls up, so not sturdy, not able to pick up and carry like a tray. It is easy to clean, just throw it into the sink and wipe it down. I know it had the measurements but it’s still a bit smaller than I wanted. My dog tends to remove her food from her bowl, place it on the floor and then eat it, so I’m hopeful, if there’s enough room that she’ll move the food to the mat instead of the floor, which will be easier cleanup. It might make a great placemat for a toddler, to catch all the spills and crumbs while eating at the table and then be able to clean it up in the sink with little to no mess on the table…just an idea ; ) 3.4 stars IMHO
