This product works fine but it isnât exactly what I thought I was getting, but Iâm not too mad at it. It is a thinner product than I thought it would be and is very flimsy. The color is also lighter than I expected but it still works for me. The lip has helped keep water off of my floors and protect them. It does clean very easily because it is a silicone material.

Great Mat
We have two of these already for our cats water and food. It contains spills very well. When we decided to put a mat at the door for shoes, we knew this would do the job. Easy to clean and maintain. Plus, I love the little paw print on the corner!

Not great
I could tell from the pictures that the lip on the edge wouldnât be high enough to prevent water spills, so I just planned to use it for my catsâ food bowls. I went with this brand primarily due to the color, as there are several other brands making very similar products. However, the color was extremely disappointing. I ordered it in Hibiscus in the size 24â x 16â; however, when I checked the listing today after opening the package and seeing the color, I noticed Hibiscus is now only available in the smaller sizes. It looks like they may have just sent me the peach pink color in the 24â x 16â size. (I hate the color pink, but I also hate returning things.)Overall, I would not recommend this product. Itâs not particularly useful, and you canât rely on the color to match what you ordered or expected. I have a cheap mat that was advertised as a boots/shoes holder; it has a higher lip, is much sturdier, is easy to wash, and has been extremely helpful for water spills. I would definitely recommend getting something like that (i.e., with a higher lip, and sturdier) if you need something to contain water spills.

An excellent placemat for my dog’s dishes
I have a very small space to put my dog’s dishes and every mat I looked at to go under them was so Big! I thought this might be too small when I ordered it, but it is the perfect size for two dog dishes and to contain the spills he causes (I do have to say that he’s not one that lifts his muzzle from the water dish dripping with water–I had a dog like that and I don’t know if this would have contained her messes). I like that it has a little lip, water doesn’t just slide off it onto the floor. The silicone keeps the water on the mat so it’s easy to mop up if there’s too much (usually I just leave it and it dries). And it’s super easy to clean–I just wipe it off with a damp rag. If I don’t want it out when guests come, I just roll it up and put it under the sink. This little mat works perfectly for my dog and the space I have for his dishes.
