Useful for when you donât want to hold the laser constantly.
IMPORTANT TO KEEP IN MIND:This is *NOT* a 360° moving laser, meaning it will not turn in a circle and make the dot go all around the cat-shaped setup. Itâs not physically capable of that given the structure is on a fixed base that has no swivel lol. Instead, if at a reasonable height, it will make a circle (more like an oval) in FRONT of it for them to chase. Iâve seen a few reviews on a variety of these products where people seem to be confused about that.I make the distinction that it needs to be a reasonable height because the higher it is placed on something, the bigger the area it will cover. Otherwise, if you place it low to the ground (low like at coffee table height or something), it will only cover a very small area.There is an adjustable lever in the back that will allow for the oval to extend even further out. We set ours up on the edge of our island/bar and let it face towards the living room area, and it will cover the whole open area where they can run and chase after it.It does what it says on the tin, though.The laser is bright enough for my cat to see it during the daytime when it kicks on (it has a timer that allows it to shut on and off every ~15mins ⦠I turn it off completely at night for bedtime, though ⦠our cats have gotten used to a schedule now and rarely get the 3am zoomies lol).I will say that it does put out a noise that is noticeable â enough of a noise that they now know exactly what it is and will run into the room where itâs at to chase the dot because they will hear it turn on.Mine will often play with it until it kicks off, but there are some times where they will just sit and watch the dot for a bit. Either way, it keeps them occupied lol.Itâs not the sturdiest item ever, but itâs good enough for what it is and should hold up well over time with the right care. Like, donât throw it around, slam it down, or let it get knocked off onto a hard surface constantly and it will last years as long as the light continues to function. Iâve had it for a few months now and it has constant use, but still looks and functions as if it was brand new/day one of receiving.You donât need batteries. You can just plug it in directly using the cord that comes with it, but you can use any for extra length as long as it has a USB-C end.Overall, itâs a fun little bit of entertainment that is decently priced for your cat if they enjoy chasing after a laser dot.

My kitten loves it!
My friend is getting one of these too, my baby cat loves it.She has so much fun chasing the laser around and doesnât get bored of it since it only goes for 15 minutes every hour and a half.She loves her hand-held laser toy and itâs her favorite but she needed me to be home to play with it. I didnât want her to be bored when I was away and wanted her to get some consistent exercise given that sheâs not the biggest fan of walks. I think this toy will do both those things!The toy itself is compact and cute and definitely wouldnât be an eyesore on a shelf.Iâm very glad that it has the option both for battery and to just plug it in to a power source.Some people mentioned that the toy does make a slight sound and their cats always rush into the room at it. Personally, the sound is really not noticeable and my kitten doesnât always notice (atleast immediately) when the laser goes off.In a way, thatâs good because itâs never woken me up or bothered me but if I had one recommendation for the product, it would be a button where we could choose if it makes a chime every time it goes off just so the cat always knows. Great product but does not work as advertised
Love this product and so does my cat, however, mine will only work when it has batteries installed and the USB cord plugged in. The product is advertised as being able to work with either or and mine does not. I’d love for it to work with only using the USB cord.

i love this to keep my cat stimulated and give him some play time! i love that thereâs an auto mode so itâll come on for 15min every hour so i donât have to remember about turning it on/off. my cat loves it and itâs small and sleek!

This toy is okay. It entertains my cat, but the speed options are limited, and the pattern it uses doesn’t seem random enough to keep my cat entertained for long. I kind of wish it was a rechargeable battery pack that you just plug in to charge, but that was my bad for not noticing it needed 4 AA batteries to run without being plugged in. Also, I don’t really know if it’s something to complain about because I haven’t tried other lasers like this, but the light didn’t show up very well if it was daytime unless I closed all the blinds and made it really dark in the house (take that as you will because I’m not sure if that’s a reasonable expectation or not).

My kitten LOVES this!!
I love how itâs shaped like a cat, super cute and works so well! The various settings change it up, which I like as well. I just got a 2 month old kitten (Milo) and heâs sad when I get home from school after 8 hours. Lonely and no one to play with. Now he can play with this laser and the other new toys I bought him!I plugged this into my smart plug and set it up with Alexa to turn on automatically every 2 hours. Milo has the zoomies at night since heâs not getting enough playtime. But now he can spend up his energy throughout the day and sleep longer during the night! (P.S. Pls excuse the litter he dragged into my carpet smh)

My cat loves this!!!!
My cat loves this. He is an indoor cat and this stimulates his natural hunting instincts. He goes crazy for it. Iâve tried other toys like this for him but this is definitely the winner in his world. Itâs quiet and has multi options for how slow or fast that suits your cat.I canât say how much he loves it. I love it too because it helps keep him busy and he thinks he is an actual hunter. He likes it both day and night because the red light shines so bright that day or night use is easy for him to see.
