Maybe the best $20 I’ve sepnt on my cats
I bought this back in Oct 2023 (it’s now May 2024). I have 1 semi feral who’s a laser pointer fan & 2 feral born sisters that like tube shaped plush toys about 6″ long. I also have a dog that likes to eat cat toys. I got this b/c my finger would hurt from pushing the button on a regular laser pointer & b/c it clamps, so I can put it on the cat tree & out of the way of the dog. This is the ONLY toy all 3 play w/ & have not tired of! It amazes me that all it does is spin in a circle & they have yet to realize it. I saw reviews before I bought it about how it turns itself on. It’s not in the info, but it’s on a timer. It runs for 30 minutes, then turns off & back on again in like 3 hours. It’ll do that until the charge runs out unless you push the power button while running & turn it off off. If you leave it to just run, the charge only lasts like 2 days, but it does recharge quickly. They could care less about the tail attachments, there all about the laser, which as others have stated is in an awkward placement, but it’s made & I’m assuming designed in China. It was well worth the $20. I’d gladly spend it again to occupy them for half an hour at a time.

It’s cute but…
I’m not sure whose bright idea it was for the laser light placement as I can be immature minded and the laser d!ck is hilarious!! Now that I have that out of the way this really is worth buying. My picky cat LOVES it. I love that I can easily move it and it hasn’t left marks on my furniture. The auto shut-off is a great feature.

They broke the arm off in 10 minutes.
They loved it but broke it immediatelyâ like within 10 minutesâand itâs not repairable. I think itâd be better if the arm was rubber instead of flimsy plastic. They love the laser but I specifically bought this because of the toy arm.

Entertaining for kitties (and their hoomans!)
Lasers and feathers – do cats love anything more than those two toys? Mine don’t! Well, not counting food and treats, of course. Since we got this little gadget, both my two year old fur babies have spent HOURS chasing after either the feather with the jingly bell or the elusive laser dot. I do feel bad that the laser can be so frustrating for my boys, since they’re never actually able to catch it. But they’re soooo entertaining to watch! My bigger boy did manage to yank off the feather toy attachment within the first few minutes. But it was super easy to reattach. And I love that the little bells on the feather attachments are pretty tiny so the jingling isn’t annoying. I only wish I could figure out how to attach this to something that could be placed in the middle of the room. Right now, we have it attached to a bookshelf, so it’s not true 360-degree play. (You can see what I mean in the video.) Yet. Still, my cats love it and get very talky whenever we take it out and set it up. OH, and it seems to charge fairly fast. 3 hours plugged in gave us 10 hours of play time. It turns off automatically and can be restarted with a simple button push.**Update: We attached it to a TV tray so we could put it more in the middle of the room. It does need a rather large area for the cats to chase it in a full circle. I also like that it changes directions so it’s not going around and around in the same direction all the time. Keeps things interesting for the boys!
