Sturdy and useful
These counter top wrap dispensers are very solidly made. They are a nice neutral color and blend in with just about any kitchen decor. I purchased two; one for plastic film and the other for aluminum foil. There will be no more bent and broken flimsy wrap boxes that are so cheaply made that the cutting edge wears out or breaks before you have finished a roll of wrap. I put the large Costco size of plastic film in one of the dispensers and it fit and works jut fine. I am so glad to have made an investment in kitchen efficiency.

Costco plastic wrap fits
Costco plastic wrapâs cardboard case sucks and I looked for a case. This one fits! Iâm not sure how to feel about the cutter part because you just attach it with double sided tape that come with it. Weâll see.

Does not fit all Wrap Rolls
The actual box is well made with sturdy bamboo construction. Magnets to hold the lid on seem to work good so far also. The cutting strip seems below average and of the quality you would encounter on a disposable cardboard wrap box so I suspect it will be the first thing to fail. They provide four stick on foot pads and (without instructions) I initially applied them to what I thought was the bottom. Wrong!! I quickly realized the opening should face up and not to the side but my attempts to remove and reposition them were futile as they are really designed to be used once and not removed.As you can see from the picture, transferring the wrap roll from my well worn cardboard Reynolds wrap box to the new bamboo one is not a straightforward task. The Reynoldâs roll is about 3/8â too wide to fit the new container. Luckily I was able to rectify the situation by trimming about 1/4â off each end of the tube with my radial arm saw so it would fit. This might be an issue for some who donât have access to power tools. The Reynolds tubing is rather thick and would have been difficult/impossible to trim with a razor or utility knife. Your mileage may vary though.

Listed as a “frequently returned” item. Very understandable.Very nicely made and finished bamboo box, with a strip of something inside. Don’t know how to use or assemble, no instructions.Based on pictures with the listing, appears the plastic wrap is to be pulled out straight,laid across the “cutter” and the plastic cutter is supposed to be pulled across the wrap and separated…? Its like the manufacturer never used cling wrap, which sticks anywhere to anything and never behaves in a reasonable manner.I would return it if I hadn’t thrown away the shipping box. Now I’ll just throw away the product.

I am using this to hold my cling wrap and, as it is convenient for me to leave this out instead of in a drawer, it looks really nice on the counter . It is very well designed and made and the cutter works great without having to worry about anything sharp. It holds the regular size (believe they come in 2-pack) from Costco but if course not the jumbo size refill. I did not want anything bigger on my counter so this was perfect.
