Great harness! Train a puppy!!! ð
I got this in size small for my new, Labradoodle puppy, at 8wks old and 13 lbs. Tightened the adjustable straps all the way to fit her. Seems durable, is nicely padded, cute too. Didn’t take her long to forget it was on her. ð Very functional and very helpful with training a new puppy! Seems much more natural and she does not mind hardly at all being directed and moved by the leash hooked to the sturdy metal ring on her back (more like a parent dog carrying them?) – as opposed to the traditional option of a collar on the neck or the great option for strong, older dogs: the awesome, tried and true Gentle Leader halter (which I have used for 10+ yrs with my last Lab mix and will use with my new pup when she’s ready). I’ve never really trained a puppy before ð (adopted previous one at 8 months old and he already had some skills), so I’m so very impressed at how this harness has taken a brand new pup, completely unfamiliar with leashes or anything other than roaming free or being carried, and within 1 week, gotten her used to walking on a leash and following the “(Name), Come” command (as I always say it before and during leading her with the leash, and occasionally with the handle when necessary) ON AND OFF the leash at least 40-50% of the time!!! ð GREAT for bonding!!! Keep the pup nearby but so manageable (as they’re always running off and chewing on everything! ð )LOVE the handle strap on the back!!!! â¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸ SO helpful with a spry little puppy wiggling and running all over the place! ðLove that you have the option of attaching the leash to the chest, as well – may use this in the future, but right now she just wants to chew on and play with the leash if I do. ð SOOO glad I got this before getting my new pup! â¤ï¸ð*Only critique: it would be helpful to have pockets to store the extra strap length in so that it is not hanging freely and enticing chewing or being otherwise annoying to the dog, when you need to have the straps tightened/shortened.*

Nice sturdy harness – UPDATED REVIEW
UPDATE # 2 – I contacted the manufacturer with a photo of the break and their customer service is excellent. They are very sorry about what happened and are sending me a replacement. They will be working on improving the design so this doesn’t happen again. Back up to 5 star!UPDATE – Less than one week after giving thi a 5 star review, I have had to downgrade it to a 3. This morning on the beach with my 6 month old German Shepherd, he was pulling hard to try and chase birds. In a split second my husband was left with a leash attached to a broken harness and no dog! One of the harness straps completely broke and my dog instantly escaped the harness like Houdini! I’m very disappointed, as I really believed this harness was sturdy, but if my German Shepherd can break it at only 6 months old, we have a problem.PREVIOUS REVIEW – LESS THAN ONE WEEK PRIOR….I originally bought the medium size when my German Shepherd puppy was 3 months old, but after less than 2 months he outgrew it and I had to buy the large size. He is now 6 ½ months old and 65 pounds and has been wearing the large size for almost 2 months and there is still room for him to grow.I love this harness. Not only does it look cute, but it is very sturdy and fits nicely. My puppy is a very strong puller, so hooking the leash to the back hook isnât that great. Attaching the leash to the front hook does slow him down and stop him from pulling, but with him it is still a little awkward. I found a great way to use it which makes me feel more secure, more in control and less fearful of one of the hooks breaking off â that is, I loop the leash a couple of times through the back handle and then hook it to the front hook. That method is a tad clumsy and itâs not for times when you want to quickly unleash him, but it works great for longer walks and I feel more in control with him.When he outgrows this one I will buy the largest size.

Comfortable and secure
We got this for our boxer before a family vacation. We anticipated her not being happy wearing this, however upon receipt and adjustment, she wore it around the house for hours. The adjustability was simple to and held secure. There is some padding around the belly and chest area to aid in comfort. She is very powerful when she wants and the multiple leash mounts held strong, even while attempting to chase wildlife. She wore this while hiking over 30 miles in a few days and never once seemed to complain of it, and half the time slept in it. We will see over time how long the buckles last, and would purchase again. Sizing was spot on for us, so use the chart provided.

Good quality but think ahead.
It was difficult to adjust the strap so that it properly fits a 26lb lab. Once adjusted it’s super easy to put on. I bought a medium because I know my 4 month old pup will quickly out grow it. Quality of material and buckles are great. Not sure how it will last since this is day 1 of use. Will update review if needed. Good value and well worth trying.

This harness gives control of the dog
When this harness came, I wondered if it was going to work out. It was somewhat difficult to fit onto the dog but I figured it out. Now, I LOVE this harness! It is very sturdy, has no places where it binds or pinches. The front clip has helped with a dog that won’t pay attention and runs off into the street. The handle on the top of the harness is wonderful, gives a way to hold the dog when necessary and even carry him with the handle! Overall great construction! I’ve had it for 5 months and it is still as sturdy as the day it was delivered. My dog doesn’t like to put it on! He knows he looses control when he wears it! And it’s good for him to loose his control over his bad walking and barking attitude. Thanks for an excellent product. I would buy it again if necessary.

Very sturdy, easy to adjust, padded on the inside, looks comfortable for the dogs.I love how there is a handle on the back of the harness so you can easily grab the dogs if you have to.

I wanted to wait for a few weeks before reviewing and have to say that we really like this vest/harness. The reflective feature is very good which we need for our dark coloured dog. The no pull claim would depend on the dog but by attaching the leash to the front of the harness, our dog’s pulling decreased by about 70% which my shoulder appreciates. The quality of stitching appears to be very good and we have used it to keep doggo secure in the car (along with doggy seat belt). He also doesn’t seem to mind the over-the-head way to put the harness on now that it means he’s going for a walk/car ride. The buckles on the harness are also very good. They are plastic but are not easily separated. All in all this is a product I would recommend.
