Great, affordable learning toy for toddlers
This is a neat, unique toy for my almost 3 year old. He really enjoys pressing the buttons to lift the doors, revealing letters, numbers, and shapes. It’s a very, very basic toy that doesn’t require any batteries, but this is a plus for us as we’re already inundated with loud battery operated toys. This is a great toy for reviewing ABCs and learning to count. If you hold the toy upside down all of the little doors will open at once. I’ve avoided showing my toddler this so as to encourage him to open each door one by one (more fun!).I recommend this toy for kids as young as 1 or 1 21/2. The little buttons are rather small, so this will also help in fine motor skills. It’s not something my toddler plays with a ton such as his trains and trucks, but we do use it everyday as part of our lessons.

Awesome toy for the price!!
This toy has been great for my 2 year old as she is starting to show a lot of interest in learning her letters. It’s something my 2 year old can easily look at herself, and it’s also fun to go through with her. She is now even able to recall a lot of the pictures and is proud of her memorization. I appreciate how the upper case and lower case are displayed (the lower case at the beginning of the printed word). My baby also likes to play with this. Running his hands across it makes lovely clicking sounds! I can’t believe this toy was only $10. The pictures are just stickers, but are showing no wear after heavy use.

Good education toy
I grabbed this for a long car ride and it kept my toddler busy for quite some time. The buttons are easy to press and it teaches a lot of things.

Well-made toy!
This toy is really well-made! It is durable and sturdy, and the pictures are cute! We bought it for a travel (car trip) toy for our 3.5-year-old son and he liked it, but I wished it had kept his attention for a longer stretch of time. He would play with it for about 5 minutes at a time and then move on to another toy/activity. He never requested it specifically; I would suggest he play with it and then he’d play with it again for a couple of minutes and then set it aside. I think he would’ve really enjoyed it when he was a little younger, perhaps 2.5-3 years old would be an ideal age for this toy.

Educational AND my grandkids LOVE it. Win-Win!
I bought a new assortment of toys for my grandchildren. No batteries, no bells and whistles, no flashing lights…and this toy is their FAVORITE! They LOVE this toy and love to argue that the animal under the S and the GRAY sections is a skunk, even though it is a squirrel. But, it looks like a skunk a holding an acorn…so they are partly right. It is a simple, easy to use, educational toy that they want to play with. Can’t beat that!

Great Educational Toy … But Poor Durability
I have purchased several Battat toys; my kids love them and I find their products to be higher quality and aesthetically pleasing. However, I was pretty disappointed in this toy. I am not disappointed in the concept of the toy but in it’s construction. The alphanumerical characters on the flip tabs are stickers; a good number of these stickers were put on very crooked and some were curled at the ends or partially coming off. I am afraid that if I try to fix them, they would get ruined. I expected better quality and durability from a Battat toy.

Trying to help my daughter get to grips with letters and numbers, and this looks great. She loves pressing buttons, so itâs perfect. Time will tell whether it helps her learn, but sheâs having lots of fun pressing all the buttons!
