I love this bed for many reasons.
So many people are complaining that this bed only lasts a year. For the cost, a year is pretty good.I wash mine weekly (I have 2) and it is still in decent condition. I have alsio found that a crib sheet fits perfectly on the “large” size bed. This way I can change the sheet and it looks great all the time.It takes a little wrestling to get the cover on but not as bad as some of the reviews indicate.It doesn’t say “water-proof” in the description but it is resistant to stains and such. If you have a dog with incontinence (one of mine had an issue for awhile) you can simply wrap the foam portion in a trash bag and put it back in the cover. The cover is washable.

It Comes Unassembled–Don’t Freak Out
The dog likes it, and that’s the most important thing about the bed.It looks like the photo in the listing, and the removable cover means that it could be washed should the pooch decide to roll in something fragrant. The “scalloped” material gives a comfortable place for the resting pooch, and it looks good in my office.I did open the package and wonder, “this looks like a piece of foam.” The cover is packed separately in the box and sits inside below the foam rubber pad.A quality item at a good price!

Excellent large dog bed to fit in cargo area of my SUV
I intentionally sized and purchased this to go in the back of my 2025 Subaru Ascent (with the 3rd row down). It fits terrifically, is enough padding to make the car ride more comfortable, and I like that the top is a warmer “wool type” fabric, while the bottom is a sturdy heavy duty fabric. It fits perfectly with about 3 inches between the bed and the door. It does come shrink wrapped but fully expanded within about an hour. My girl laid on it in the house for a bit and then jumped right on it in the car.

Doesn’t wear well
I’ve had this bed just over a year. I had thought it would do well with the quality of materials used but it hasn’t. A month after purchase I washed it as I usually do with all the beds. After that first washing, the cloth covering became matted looking and pilled like a sweater would. That month I had given the dogs some of those huge cow bones and of course they took them to their beds several times a day. The bones left tiny white crumbles behind that were rubbed into the material. I assumed they would come off during washing. Nope. Not only were those little crumbles stuck in the material but every little stick and piece of leaf was caught in the matted material, too. The appearance is that of a years-old bed that never gets washed. It looks bad. I even tried using one of those sweater de-fuzzers on it. Didn’t help. So I finally took a look at it today and decided I can’t stand it in the house another week. I’m here shopping for another bed I’ve bought before and like much better but I thought I’d better warn others about this issue. This one is going in the trash because it always looks dirty.

We have a very large size dog of 90 kg, the bed is large enough to accommodate her and her 2 cat friends, firm enough to hold her weight.Top get a little dirty but is washable and after a good dry its like new.would recommend for very large dogs.If you have a Lab or similar you can do with one or two sizes smaller.

This is the second time I’ve purchased this bed for my 100 lb senior dog. Nice bed but the foam is noticeably thinner and softer than the one purchased a year ago. Sadly doesn’t provide much orthopedic support.Another case of Shrinkflation…
