I bought this bowl for my corgi who can eat a bowl of noodles in 20 seconds. This bowl helps slowly him down and work for his food.

Works well
This bowl is sturdy and really slows down eating. I feed my dogs a combo of small dog kibble and green beans and it wasn’t even possible for them to fully clear out all of the food- I had to discontinue using it due to the amount of food they were losing, even after working at it for half an hour or more. I think it would work better with large kibbles, wet food, or maybe dogs that are a little smaller could get this cleaned up better- the Frenchie sized face just couldn’t get into the crevices at the edges.I am disappointed it didn’t work out because I really liked it otherwise. The suction cup firmly attaches the bowl to the hardwood or linoleum and keeps it in place no matter how aggressively they eat. One of my dogs was biting at it to try and release the stuck food and it did not end up in pieces (It was only a few bites per meal before I would remove it, I do not recommend letting your pet chew on this).It cleans up easily- dishwasher was easier than handwashing due to the narrow gaps. I recommend this for larger kibbles, or for small pets with narrow faces.

Functional & Fashionable
All I can say is… finally! These slow feeder bowls are convenient, cute, and stylish. Honestly, we’ve had to put our fur babies on a little diet and these bowls help to slow them down during feeding time. Also, the anti-slip on the bottom of the bowl is a great feature because our cat and pup can enjoy their meal without all the slipping and sliding.Did I mention how modern and stylish the colors are?! These bowls have been thoroughly tested which is what I feel sets them apart from the rest. Will definitely be purchasing more for family and friends as the holidays grow closer! SUPER PLEASED!! My dog loves it
I donât typically write reviews, but I had to with this one. I have a pointer mix and she inhales her food and was coughing a lot after eating. This takes her a lot longer and I havenât noticed any coughing so thatâs a huge plus.Like the others said, itâs well made and durable, easy to clean, and itâs a huge plus that it looks great – Iâve gotten quite a few compliments from friends!

Almost perfect in all aspects except my cat struggles with it.
Let me start with the pros. It’s thick and feels really solid and heavy unlike cheap silicone products â the quality justifies the price. It seems this bowl will last for years and it doesn’t retain that horrible dishwasher detergent smell after washing, like most silicones do. I got the “pink” one, which is more like muted peach. And the clean Art Noveau-inspired geometric shapes are just nice to look at.It’s rather large compared to standard slow feeders for cats (the yellow-green one). I’ve noticed my cat hasn’t really eaten as much of her kibbles when I come home. I thought she was just on a hunger strike, which she does when she disapproves of something new (so dramatic). But on weekends I observe her eating off it and she seems to struggle not just because it’s a “slow feeder” but because the spaces between the ridges are too narrow. And she can never get the kibbles out of those small triangular areas I encircled. I’m sure the bowl design is intentional, but I wish there are gaps along the wall so she could at least nudge the kibbles out like she normally does with her old feeder (see arrows in photo).She tries hard to dig the kibbles out with her claws and I’m afraid this doesn’t just slow her down or give her a challenge but she actually gets frustrated. The idea is to slow down her munching afterall, not starve her.I got this feeder thinking it’s good for cats. But what I think is good doesn’t necessarily matter if my cat is not happy with it. I’ve given it a month and there’s just no improvement and I don’t want to punish my cat further.I would love for Stella & Bear to come up with a product that’s specifically made for cats. Maybe that one would make my furbaby happy. But until then, I think we’ll retire this beautiful feeder or pass it on to a friend who has a dog.

BEST.BOWL.EVER.
I just started using slow feeder bowls for my 20 lb West Highland White Terrier mix. He would eat his food so fast and it seemed to give him more stomach issues than he already had. I liked how slow feeder bowls also gave him something to do, which helped his boredom. Dogs love to lick and work at things and it’s great for their mental health too. After starting this process I decided to make his dog food. (I’m a nut.) That’s where this slow feeder bowl comes in. WOW!! This bowl is the perfect size. This bowl is the perfect depth. This bowl is heavy duty and comes with a suction type thingy on the bottom which secures it to the (hardwood) floor. This bowl is PERFECT for my homemade turkey/brown rice/blueberry/veggie mixture that Latte licks up happily! The mixture just pushes into the crevices of this bowl and makes it an eating challenge for Latte. It keeps him busy doing something he loves – which is eating! Once he’s done eating I just put the bowl in the dishwasher and viola! That’s it! If I could give this bowl a 5+ rating I would. I’m ordering another one so I always have a clean one on hand. Oh, another thing – this bowl is big enough for a bigger breed dog too. I think it would be perfect for a Golden Retriever size dog or even larger and perfect for frozen treats too! Great product!!!

My Dogs Love this Mat!
My dogs love this silicone lick mat! Itâs the whole familyâs new favorite way to feed the dogs. The mat slows down the dog and makes them work for their food.The mat is both easy to fill and easy to clean. It is dishwasher safe, which is so convenient.I love that the mat is made of silicone (gentle on the dogâs mouth). Even though itâs silicone, itâs also very durable. I have 3 large breed dogs, and one smaller dog. They can all use this mat and enjoy using it.
