*UPDATE* Keep away from adult aggressive chewers…
Our 3 month dachshund showed little interest in these hard toys. However, the 2 year old aggressive chewer dachshund loved it. We gave it to her instead and it was her favorite. She took it everywhere, we called it her pacifier. There slowly was some damage to the ends. It disappeared after a few weeks I recently found it half eaten (not sure if she ate the whole thing little by little), but the puppy found it the other day and it was a tiny little nub…needless to say I tossed it to avoid the big dachshund from choking on it. These are really tough toys but maybe too tough for a puppy and too soft for an adult. Be aware if you share a household of dogs with many toys this may be a hazard to the adults.*UPDATE*+1 star! Our now 6 month old canât get enough of this toy, now that all of good baby teeth have fallen out, he chews his little maple wood one all of the time! We might buy the same pack so that he can have the other toy it comes with too. Itâs durable to his new teeth and there arenât any signs of pieces taken out like the old one, just really chewed! Still keeping away from the aggressive chewers but perfect for our now teenage puppy!

Update: Bought the other set as well in ‘Wishbone’ real bacon flavor, she loves those as much! The ‘Fishbone’ salmon flavor will be next purchase! So happy I found an alternative to raw bones where she can chew safely anytime.My dog is 2.4 yrs old (rescue/adopted 8 months ago), 12 lbs, 79% Doxie, rest is Pom/Chi mix *DNA tested!), she inherited her Pom/chi smaller nose, jaw and teeth as well as less jaw power, hence canât put a dent in the regular ones of anykind and loose interest. The puppy ones are perfect for her, she loves them and usually not very food/treat motivated, she chews on them everyday several times a day. I also buy the Nylabone Flexi in small or regular since they are softer but not as good as these. I was hesitating in buying these here as they look really hard but the puppy ones are also for tiny dogs and moderate chewers and seniors too! Iâm going to buy all the twin packs eventually.

These bones have kept my puppy from chewing up our house! He loves these, weâve bought a few packs now because they seem to keep him really busy! Better for us than normal food type chews, since they always go right through him, unlike these! Highly recommend these!
