My Yorkie puppy had mats in his legs. This product worked quite well. I soaked his legs with it, & I was able to remove the knots with a tiny plastic comb, without hurting him. The product smells good too!

I purchased this to use along with the BioSilk Detangling Conditioner, as it sounded like they would work well together. Well, I was not disappointed at all. In fact, I was thrilled! When combing out my Havanese puppy, with her smooth and silky hair, this makes it so much easier to keep her looking her best, and I love the clean and pleasant smell, too! I am so glad that I found the BioSilk brand items on Amazon, and I know I will be a repeat customer. This spray does what it claims – detangles and conditions poodle coat very nicely – but the scent was way too strong, for both me and my dog. The scent does fade over time, but is just too strong while wet. I ordered an unscented product and have been using that with no problems.

My Goldendoodle had very soft fur that is quite scruffy! Super cute but can mat easily. This stuff made his fur even more silky and helped the de-matting brush get through easily. Smells a bit perfumey for him but I am sure he’ll find a pile of poo to roll in soon enough. Lol love this product!

I have a little Shorkie (Yorkie & Shih tzu X) with the absolute worst coat I have ever seen. I swear her hair grows in matts! I could brush her her until the end of time and the minute the wind blows, she lays down or you pet her…..She needs to be brushed out again. Thankful she doesn’t mind being brushed. She has long yorkie coat on top and this undercoat of constant matted fluff. This is the first product that has actually helped in the dematting process. She is only 10 months old and I wanted to try leaving her hair in a longer puppy cut because we love the look. However we my opt for a teddy bear cut sooner than later. I highly recommend this product, especially when dealing with puppies as it just makes grooming more enjoyable for the both the dog and you. I found it to have a nice pleasant clean smell. Nothing over powering. Will definitely keep it on hand. Even my groomer is now ordering it!

I have used this spray on my papillon for occasional mats and tangles. It works well. The scent is mild and doesn’t linger. I found the trick to me to thoroughly spray the mat or tangle and then to gently work with a stainless steel comb and fingers to coax the tangle out. It really does help. It’s also useful as a pre-brush spray to stop fly-away fur. If using as a pre-brush spray a gentle misting is all that is necessary.
