It worked great for collagen sticks. It holds it securely, although I do seem to think that if a dog was bound and determined to remove the device, they probably could. But our dog just chews the end of the stick and doesn’t try to remove it from the holder, so it works well for us. (Aggressive chewer- 77 pounds golden retriever)The medium seemed to fit the collagen sticks very well.It also doubles as a wonderful chew toy even without a stick in it!!!!!! It’s one of the only chew toys that she can’t destroy and it’s got enough “give” to it that I don’t worry about her cracking a tooth, unlike those super hard nylon bones. I would buy this just for the chew toy aspect!!!! It’s a bonus that it also holds her collagen sticks. I have also put a mini-milk bone treat in the hole, a baby carrot, and some peanut butter (not all at once) and it worked great to keep her entertained!!!!!!!!

Was skeptical about size. Amazing – it works
Iâve tried a few bully stick holders, this is by far the best on Amazon. The problem Iâve found is, bully sticks come in all shapes and sizes. Many people give their dogs all different size sticks as well. My 23lb frenchie will get a 6â bully as a quick treat, sometimes he gets a 12â to spend a few days on. When heâs lucky he gets a 24â which can last a week. That said none of these companies really help clarify what size holder works. Most of the other brands are bulky, big, heavy and oddly enough my dog wonât even touch. One brand was difficult for him to pick up.This designs simple and brilliant. The materials sturdy and not cheap. Gives enough support for your doggo to use it as support with their paws. Iâve already watched mine just roll it back and forth as heâs chewing. Bully stick holder aside, itâs his new favorite toy.So talking about size and fit. What I can tell you is the medium holder fits a 6 inch bulky really easily. the 12 inch bully stick works really well, it can be a bit of a challenge to get in. The 24â is hit or miss. The skinnier sticks will fit. as long as one side gets in, you can pull the holder right down the middle. My pictures: After running this under water, I was able to get a 24â bully stick that was about 5/8 – 3/4 of an inch. The other side of the sick had a fat round nub on it, which wasnât make it through at all. As the instructions explain, place it on a bit of an angle after running it under water and start screwing the stick into it. It will make its way through and with a little elbowPower youâll get the holder sliding down right to the center. Iâve found this is the best spot for it.Hope your pup enjoys this just as much as mine did!

Works as intended
This works well and I don’t have to worry about her checking on a piece of her bully stick. However, it can he difficult to get the piece out of. Soaking in water helps a bit.

Safe and fun!
I got the small bully grip (green) as a gift even before I brought my Corgi puppy, Teddy, home. My friend warned me how dangerous the bully sticks were for her German Shepherd since he tried to swallow the last 3 inches in the past. I’m glad she got the bully grip for me early so I can immediately give Teddy all sorts of chew treats when he comes home with me, and I don’t have to worry about him choking on the end nubs!Teddy really enjoys playing with the bully grip with chew treats. He throws it around, rolls it, and hold the grip down while he chew on the treats. It also helps with crate training since I would often throw the bully grip w treats into his crate and he would follow it in and be content gnawing and playing with it. Also the bully grip helps keep the chew treats in the crate, while his other smaller toys often slip out of the crate when playing.I was so happy with the product that I bought the medium bully grip (purple). I have not noticed much difference in use. Most of the chew treats that fit in the small also fits into the medium grip. Both size grip doesn’t fit the himalayan yak cheese chew though. But it is still good to have 2 bully grip so I can rotate the chew treats (ex bully stick, tripe twist, oinkies) – it takes him forever to finish some of these chew treats and he gets bored so I have to rotate them – or sometimes I give 2 different chew treats at once when he is particularly fussy.I’m just super happy that the bully grip holds on to the end nubs of the chew treats so that there is less choking hazard that I have to worry about when giving Teddy these chew treats! Again, he does have lots of fun with them!

I spent like 2 weeks looking up every possible chew stick holder. This is the one I thought would be best but was hesitant to buy because of the price, and also worried that it wouldn’t be the right size fit for my dogs bully sticks (had to order online, could not find in store to check it out first).I bit the bullet and ordered it and am so so happy with my purchase. It works really well!!! We use the bully bunches brand of 6 inch standard size bully sticks. I buy them at walmart so I’m able to look in the bag and buy a pack that doesn’t have any sticks that are too thin/thick, as they do vary in size slightly.I love that it is a thick, hard rubber material. I was turned off by all other options as they were a hard plastic/nylon material and in reviews you could see how easily they got chewed up. The bully grip is so well made and the material will definitely stand up to my chewing pup. Also like that you can put spreads or other treats inside, or even just throw it to play fetch!I will be ordering the large size as well to try with the yak chews.

This works very well at holding thin bully sticks/pizzles. The grip is solid and feels firm enough and I believe it will last a long time with my stronger chewer. So far my dog hasnât pulled the chew out and loves it so I feel it has improved safety as dog canât now swallow the small end of the chew. Wonât fit the wider chew sticks, so I also need to buy a bigger one.

Was great to give my pup something to hold with her paws when eating a built stick and saves the last piece so no choking hazard. However in not able to get the end piece out so can’t use it again

This is the second one I bought. Yes they are expensive, but SO WORTH it.Not only for the end piece and choking, but itâs a great holder so they can put their paws on it and chew.Remember: to wet the end of the stick and the donutâ¦. Then twist it in wait for a few min then give it to your dog. And itâll set in!The blue one is large and I keep his bully sticks in there, cause they usually last a long time. And I donât have to keep swapping them out.And this purple one is medium, I put smaller chew sticks that heâll chew within an hour or 2.
