Very well made and hours of puppy fun!
I am very impressed with this toy. The quality is excellent and the design is perfect. Obviously, time and care was taken to ensure that the pockets for the treats were deep, yet accessible so that the pet didn’t tear apart the carrots. The holes in the plush soil are perfectly snug to create an actual challenge and allows for shallow placement for smaller and younger dogs. This toy was an excellent way of getting my pup acclimated to her play pen. The positive reenforcement of treats and accomplishment helped so much to make her pen a happy and positive place to spend 20 minutes on her own. I highly recommend this product.

Good workout
Got one of these to slow down my kitten after she taught herself to flip a snuffle mat.Comes with a bunch of “catnip” pouches – I think mine were dead since neither of my cats were remotely interested in them.Loaded it up with some kibble and freeze-dried minnow bits and carrots were flying. The mounting board also flew, which threw kibble everywhere. Ended up DIYing it a bit tying a chunk of particle board underneath it with a shoelace, and now at least she can’t fling it around to cheat. Works great now, a lot of fun watching carrots fly but you need the stinkiest treats possible so they figure out that the carrots pop out.

Something Different
I needed something to keep my cats entertained while I worked during the day/sleep at night, so I bought this. It’s pretty neat, but my cats can’t get any treats/food out of the carrots because the opening is just too tight/small, so I just fill them/rub them with cat nip and set them up. I have one girl who loves to carry the carrots around the house while meowing at everything.

Seriously!! This is an epic dog toy. I remember seeing an ad for it a long while back and I instantly wanted it for my pup but it was pricier and I wasn’t sure about quality. I saw somewhere it was mentioned it was redesigned recently?& truly – this is a *quality* toy. I have a lot of respect for the materials used and how it’s put together. The bottom inside of each hole being a slick material that can be wiped clean, the fact the shell is washable, the pockets in the carrots – everything so solidly built. If you’re thinking about grabbing this – it’s worth it!I have a very high energy, smart pup who needs a lot of mental activity toys – she loves this. One of the best toys we’ve ever gotten her. Thank you to the people who created this!

Move of a dog toy than a cat toy
Fun squeakers and lots of cat nip. However, my cats were more interested in the cat nip and even the pineapple cat toy, which they never care about, than this toy itself. Even my glutenous cat, though she did try it and I tried several configurations to get her to show interest and action, was all “Meh…”. So I returned it. Giving it 3 stars, though, because I know my former pup would have loved it!

Our cats may be a bit slow because they never figured out getting treats out of the carrots, but they love digging the carrots out and getting treats we put at the bottom.

Even works for my ‘not-a-cat’ cat
It’s good quality foam, and soft fabric. My 23 lb “not a cat” boy Vladdy stood on this foam, ‘rooting out’ carrots, and that foam held up. The catnip tea bags underwent intense scrutiny from both my boys, and survived. They are just the right size to smooth into the opening – you may have to move the squeaker around, but the pocket inside is good sized to make the tea bag snug.Vladdy doesn’t care for toys. Hell play with something, if at all, for maybe 10 seconds, and then he dismisses it. However, he played with this for a good 3-4 minutes, walked away, and then pounced back on it.My other boy, Sergei, was super affectionate with the carrots, before he tossed them in the air like found preyOverall, I’m already impressed with this, from the quality of the pieces, to how engaged my boys were with it. Definitely recommend this.

My Ragdoll loves puzzles, but this is not cat friendly. The soft material makes getting the treat out impossible. The carrots have a loud dog squeaker in them. All they have done is add a cat toy and catnip pouches to say itâs a cat toy.
