it does get lost easily however, as it’s smallbought a 2nd one for if I can’t find the first or if it’s chargingworks well on hardwood or tile, struggles on carpet

DON’T BUY didn’t last 2 weeks
I am rewriting a review for this toy. I wrote my first review after 1 week of low usage & thought it was great. Bought and sent to my daughter one b/c my cats loved it. WELL, after 2 weeks, the ball quit working. It would roll around for about 30 seconds and quit. Nothing I did would make it work. (When I say low usage, it was used about 4 times before I left for vacation.) Days later I tried again and again it quit after 30 seconds. I thought MAYBE I didn’t read the directions right. Others have read the directions and saw that this ball just wasn’t working the way it was described to work. THEN, my daughter calls me and says this ball isn’t working correctly!!! I told her mine wasn’t either. It wasn’t her OR me, it is a default of the ball. I would NEVER spend this much money on this ball if others had written reviews stating that it doesn’t last. Sorely disappointed b/c the concept is great!!

Cats love it
Great fun fir cats. Only bad thing is in works for 5 minutes every time it’s turned on. It holds a charge for much longer, but when it shuts off after 5 minutes. Finding it can be a challenge. Great value though.

Very small, smaller than a golf ball . And dosnt actually roll that good. But its a good sex toy .

Not what I expected, not in a pleasant way.
So, I bought this for my cat so that when I’m working from home he won’t need my constant attention. I turned it on, and immediately it scared the heck out of my cat. It also is quite loud and gets stuck all the time. I thought maybe it was just my cat. So, I brought it to my cousins two tabbys, two of the most playful and relaxed cats I know. THEY were frightened by it also, I think it’s in part due to the grinding noise it makes. One of the cats built up the nerve to examine it up close. He sniffed it, and looked at me like WTH? This smells like latex, not a rodent! So, needles to say, it was not worth the money.

Good for small dogs too
So Iâve got a five month Yorkie puppy. I got this toy because most of the dog moving balls are too big for him. This one he can pick up and carry. The two modes give me an option for quick play (first mode) or if I need to leave and want him to have entertainment (second mode). Iâve seen him go over and turn it on himself too. The toy is pretty durable so far, which I was worried about because itâs not really intended for dogs, but my yorkie mostly bats it around and doesnât chew it, so I think Iâve lucked out there.

I decided to try this ball in hopes it would distract my needy needy kitten while I cook dinner, work or just do anything that requires my hands and that means I can’t carry him around like a newborn child. Thankfully it works like magic! It doesn’t stay on for very long but it’s a quick button push and he’s distracted all over again. You’ll get about an hour straight if you keep turning it on. It does charge pretty fast so I am grateful for that. Along with it making my life easier he LOVES it. Worth every penny and highly recommend

The ball is slow, the battery life is not great and it gets stuck on everything. I’ve had similar cat toys in the past that worked way better and were cheaper, so I’m disappointed in this product.Update: It also stopped working after a couple months. Changing my rating to 1.

The cats love this one, keeps them entertained and running around. I just wish the battery was a little better and held a charge for more than 30 minutes or so. I suppose you can only expect so much from such a small toy. I still recommend buying it to help get those indoor kitties up and moving!

It looks super cute and feels fine but even when fully charged, it does not work very well. It will not move on carpet, and gets stuck on tile. It exclusively works on hardwood or laminate only (aka perfectly smooth surfaces). It does randomly slide across the floor but often goes into a ‘turbo’ mode where it just spins super fast in the same spot making a lot of noise. It reminds me of those cartoons where someone runs super fast in place before they actually start moving, except this doesn’t move.Honestly, my kitten preferred playing with it while turned off than when it was on. Also, the rubber causes every single bit of fur, dust, etc to stick to it. Less than a minute on the floor and it is covered and gross. This would be a solid 8/10 if it worked and a decent 9/10 if it didn’t pick stuff off the floor better than my vacuum.
