Great for what I needed: Simple but nice
This product was great for what I needed. I was looking for a simple yet somewhat cushioned mat to place at the foot of my bed. I would say that it came different as advertised as it does imply that it would be thicker. It’s about an inch thick at best with the fur about another inch. The size is great when it’s spread out! Lots of room! It’s surface is definitely soft! The material overall is not firm enough to retain its shape well when the sides are lifted up. It’s flimsy like a thick blanket. It’s good for what I need but don’t expect a perfect rectangle. The buttons and elastic attachment method seems secure for now. As pointed out in other reviews, the lining underneath the surface can be seen depending on the angle. As the fur changes direction it can be covered up though. My cat was somewhat afraid of it at first but now she is sleeping very comfortably on it. It only took her about 30 minutes to adopt it. It smelt great upon arrival like a new sweater! The backside is like a tweed and very tear resistant. It seems easy to clean but I’m doubting how well it’ll last going through a wash. I will mostly be keeping it open as she likes to sprawl out but the folded option is nice! I will update later how this goes with washing and durability!Update: My cat surprising preferred the tweed side over the furry side. I’m glad it’s reversible so i have options. I did end up washing it and I was dumb to let the dryer go too high in temperature. It burned the furry side and now it’s all hard and scratchy. Thankfully the tweed side is great! That’s the side she liked better anyways thankfully! Btw my cat is a petite long hair at like 7lb for size referencw

Idk if it reflects the heat back buy my cat loves it in his crate he sleeps the entire car rides and doesn’t want to leave the bed most of the time. It was very soft but it’s kinda hard to clean little bits out of the fluff

I need morehthan ONE!
I bought this to have on the porch for an outdoor kitty that adopted me. She wasn’t getting along with my other heathens already in the house, so I was keeping her in the bathroom when it got cold. I felt bad since there wasn’t anywhere for her to sleep other than the floor. She took right to it.She is inside now, sort of getting along with everyone, there are still words when they get too close to each other, but she has staked out her sleeping spots in the house, so the bed is now fair game. The others have found it, so it’s a bit of a free for all to get into it first.It’s a little tricky to get the sides folded up, it’s got little elastic bands that go around the button. Took me a few tries to get it hooked. One word though, when I washed it the first time, one of the buttons came off and it was lost in the wash. I simply sewed it up and it’s fine. The “fur” inside it is pretty plush.Obviously, I’m not sure how well it heats up, but the kids sure do like it. Other than the button falling off, it’s working out very well. I’m probably gong to have to order a few more to keep the peace.

*Edited with an added star.*My sweet kitty I got this bed for crossed the rainbow bridge.She never did take to this bed, but she was a very picky girl, Godbless her sweet little fluffy self.A few months ago we got an orange tabby that was in need of a home.He loves this bed! He seems to be part Maine Coon, so he’s quite large, sowhen he came to me at 4 month sold, this bed was already too small to useit as a ‘box’/sides-up bed for him.He’s a very ‘spaz’ cat, never slows down, wouldclimb the curtains if he wouldn’t get into trouble for it, etc. Right now his bed isa woven (lined) large laundry basket. Sounds odd, I know, but it’s actually quitecute, and he LOVES IT. I did put this bed, laying it flat, in the bottom, on top of someother soft things. This is the only thing he will stop and make biscuits on! The bed is sosoft I think it must somehow remind him of his mom’s tummy from when he was little.He just puts his head down, engages paws and gets to the business of working that dough!Did I mention he purrs nonstop? Well he does. He really loves his binky! And I love that heloves his binky so much!Thank you for such a great quality product. It’s holding up beautifully! And my orange boyhas destroyed many things I’ve gotten for him (he is a force to be reckoned with!) but this bedis not showing any signs of wear or distress!I bought this with my own money, no one asked me for my review, I’m not gettingcompensated in ANY way. It fold up nicely into the littlebox shape, though we aren’t using it that way.All in all, it does seem to be a nice bed.But you know cats. You can buy them the world, and they willalways want the packaging it came in. *sigh*

I originally only bought one, thinking that the normal “cat rule” would apply – if it’s specifically for them, they won’t use it. For a couple of weeks, it wasn’t used until one day it was. Fights ensued over who was allowed to sleep in it so now there are multiple around the house. Love love love!

It’s only been a day but safe to say that she loves it! The bed itself is a bit flimsy and when she gets playful she flips it over but that’s no big deal.
