Light weight and perfect for a kittens and older cats alike
We recently adopted 2 kittens that were only 4 weeks old. They barely ate from a little plate so when we got these they were a godsend. Not only did the wet food stay on the plate but we could use one plate initially for the two kittens and eventually graduate them to one each. Now that they are eating all dry food they are great for water!We didn’t realize that our older cat had whisker fatigue, but these plates revealed that to us. She always drank out of the sink and would beg constantly as if she would never drink out of her dish. And she seemed to always have some kind of buildup/rash/funky skin under her chin. Once we started using these plates for water her skin cleared right up and she barely ever asks for water from the sink! We put the dishes in a few spots throughout the house and found that all 3 cats drink a lot more water than they were with the big deep water dish. Now they are constantly drinking from the dish and will even lead us to a dish when its running low. They are light weight enough that they tend to pick them up and drag them around the house when they run low. We do have some dishes around the house for food and I would say they may not be great for that because the food just ends up a good 6 inches or more outside the dish. Somewhere for us to step on, which wasn’t as big of an issue with the deeper auto feeder. But at least we know they are well fed and aren’t getting whisker fatigue.As an added bonus they clean extremely easy. Even dried up wet food can wipe right off with a little bit of water. We have put them in the dishwasher and they are the perfect size for the top shelf, or in little slots of a full washer load.Very handy under a small potted plant too!

Great for fast eaters
I have 3 cats and one likes to jump bowls and eat really fast, especially wet food. Because this is almost a plate it spreads the food out better than a typical bowl and I find that slows him down, plus he tends to stay in his own plate because he can get to what he wants easier. It works great for both wet and dry food or a mixture of both at the same time. This is used on a 16 year old cat and 2- 7 month old kittens and they all seem to like them. Easy to clean, they can go right in the dishwasher. Only complaint is that they slide very easy on wood floors but a food mat helps keep them somewhat still.

Nice little bowls
With 4 kittens to feed, these work well. Very easy to clean. The only flaw I have found is that they will slide around unless they are placed on a mat or rug. They would be perfect if they had little rubber nonslip bottoms.

Hard to go wrong
They’re cat dishes. How can you go wrong? The size is as pictured, and they don’t feel like they’ll snap on me. They feel just like a Tupperware dish, so cleaning is easy. I just wish there was grip on the bottom so they didn’t slide.
