Good but be careful
Overall, Iâm happy with my purchase.I do want to throw out there that within half hour of first use, it already became wrinkled (you can see it in the photo) because the sides are not super sturdy and therefore did not keep its shape 100%. I was a bit surprised by that because in the product photos where the person is using the shoulder strap, the shape is retained which is why I bought it. However, it is nice looking and seems to be good quality aside from the wrinkling. Side expansions, handles, shoulder strap, and three ways to unzip it is so helpful and made us both much more comfortable during travel. The furry inner lining is a plus as well, my pup was able to relax on our train ride.

I traveled to Florida and back with my 5 month old puppy. Once we onboard the plane I placed her under the seat and unzipped the side and she layed down and slept the whole flight. Layla was comfortable with plenty of space to move around.

Great for short trips or socializing
I don’t remember which size I purchased of this carrier, but I bought it for kittens and it feels like it might be a bit snug once they are full grown, as they can just about touch the top while standing. I marked this 4 stars for sturdiness as well, as it feels well made, but due to the design, it doesn’t have much structural integrity, so if a cat or dog jumps on it, it will mostly collapse.I’ve used this for vet trips and to socialize two kittens and it has worked great. The fold out sides allow the animals to move about without being trapped in a small cube, which ideally would be good for travel as well given you have enough space to leave it expanded in the car. The interior is very soft and it seems to be quite comfortable.

Works great- Horrible scent when opening the package.
The carrier works great and is fairly large, however upon opening the package it reeked of a foul smell like cigarette smoke. Still has the strong scent. Was contemplating returning it due to the strong odor, but the sole purpose of it works great. My cat loves the extra room it had.

Great cat carrier.
I love the room in this carrier. You can use it for one cat or expand it to fit two in it comfortably. We have 11 pound and 13 pound cats and they both can fit in this carrier. Love the removable cushion. Washes nicely in case of an accident.

Having this has been wonderful during moves. If my cat didnât want to come out, Iâd expand the bag so she has room and she loves it. It is really easy to wash and is so durable.

Expands In Many Ways
This bags expands on each side thus adding more room from a pet. We have a âminiâ golden doodle who is NOT so mini. He fit inside and traveled on certain airlines. (United Airlines requires the pet be able to stand up in the carrier). This aspect did not work in our case. But, for a lap dog or small pet this carrier is a great value.

Shoulder strap is dangerous
I just carried my cat out to the car in this and the shoulder strap broke. The metal on one of the clasps literally snapped apart. My cat is well under the listed weight limit. Iâve only had this carrier for a year and have used it like 5 times in total for very short trips.I was carrying two cats in two carriers, so I wasnât able to break the fall. Iâm extremely lucky that Iâm short and the ground wasnât far, and that the strap broke when I got to the BOTTOM of the concrete stairs to my second floor apartment, and not at the top. If youâre at all able to, I recommend just spending the money on a quality carrier. Buy nice or buy twice, or the secret third thing, which is dropping your beloved cat on the pavement.Also, the expansion is nice in theory, but with this specific design, the expandable sides are bulky and take up a lot of space inside the carrier when theyâre closed.
