My cat REALLY likes this laser toy, so much so that she bats it off wherever I have it perched when it doesn’t re-activate for motion sensing soon enough. The device has a feature that won’t let it just continually run, it will give your cat a break and disable motion sensing for a time after it goes through a session. Apparently it’s too long of a break for Daria, heh.The only annoyance for me personally is that you charge it with a USB cable that plugs into the back, however it won’t operate at all as long as it’s plugged in. I wish you could just leave it plugged in. Aside from that, for the price, this is an awesome toy. Between this and a puzzle treat toy, my cat is well entertained during the day while I’m at work

Best cat laser
Bought a laser at pet store and it fell apart. Found this and decided to order. Weâve had it for about 6 months and still going strong. Cat absolutely loves it and so do I. Just press a button and sheâs entertained for a good 10-15 minutes.

I have another laser toy that actually looks like a cat that I purchased on Amazon that my cat loves. I thought I would try this one for a change – what a mistake.I had to charge this one for two hours before she could play with it. Then – you can’t leave it plugged in for a continuous charge like my other one – you have to unplug it. When I tried to set it so my cat could play with it, it was crazy.Before someone says that you can adjust it up and down, forget it. Her other toy can go up and down, around in a circle and I can adjust it for three different modes with one button. This thing has one button that you use and the color of the button determines what the laser will do: fast, slow, or interactive mode. When I adjust the head, it will aim from the floor to the ceiling. But even the fast mode is kind of slow, and so my cat sits there and stares at the laser.Even the instructions warn not to stare at the laser, and I will not risk anything happening to my baby, so we only used it for a few hours, before we stopped. She wouldn’t run after the laser like she did her old one, and like I said before, staring at the laser scared me, so we turned it off.This is not a toy that I feel is safe for our baby, so I would not purchase this again. I also would not recommend this for other pet owners who love their fur babies.

Not unpredictable.
It’s actually very limited in its projection abilities. It only projects the laser in a circular pattern that isn’t very random at all. It’s actually quite predictable after a short time, so my cat lost interest. My dog played with it for a bit longer, but also got bored with it. Probably because it also didn’t shut off for awhile like it was supposed to. It came right back on with every motion trigger, even though it’s supposed to only come on for a short time every 1.5hrs or so. So, back it went. This was a decent try, but there’s nothing yet that mimics what a person would do with a laser pointer, which is too bad.

Buy it!
I bought this to replace an older brand I bought from a regular store that had died out and used batteries. This was the best investment I’ve made. My kitty absolutely loves it. I highly recommend. I can go several days without having to charge it and it’s used several times a day and left on motion sensor during the night. The motion sensor is great as well and keeps my lil guy busy at night when he wants to play. I did see on some reviews that they complained about how high the beam goes, especially in small spaces. I can say it does go around in a widespread area and you can adjust it by moving the head up or down. For my I keep the beam in a more moderate area just by propping the back end of the toy up on a small roll or painter’s tape and angling it down. You can always adjust the height you keep the toy at and how you angle it, easy simple fix. I highly, highly recommend.

NY cats favorite toy,
This is my cats favorite toys hands down and mine too since I don’t have to do anything. It actually has 4 modes. One where the light just stays put so it acts as a still laser beam you can just manually point whereever you want. Then the slow, fast, and motion sensing modes as described on Amazon,I’m glad to have all the modes cause right now as a kitten, the fast mod is best for my cat, he seems to like the manual mode the best as I can point exactly where I want the laser, but when I’m out or when I’m just being lazy, the auto modes are nice.The one thing I don’t like is the USB cord that comes with it is super short and there is no charging block (you have to buy your own). It would have been nice to be able to just leave it plugged in all the time. That’s my only complaint. Besides that, I absolutely love this toy,
