Easy to assemble sturdy post and the cats love it!
I like that this was simple to assemble.I also am thrilled that it is so sturdy while one of the carts are scratching on itI was initially worried that the folded base was a week point. But putting the large flat washer between the head of the headed bolt and across the fold seam (see picture) ties everything tightly together in a sturdy fashion. This creates the wide base that makes the tree so stable.The 2 sisal wound posts go together as simply as every other cat tree that you have ever seen. Be certain to place the small green round between them..I will admit that the top of the top half of the post with the ball on a rope concerned me for a few minutes. The good looking artificial leaves are shown screwing into this spot. But there is no hole there for it. But a bit of feeling around let me no that the hole was there. I simply punctured thru the cloth with the end of the same ncluded Alan wrench that I used to tighten the bottom post to the large base. Then the leaves screwed right in!Looking back, it kind of makes sense to supply the top round with the hole covered up. Some people may think that the leaves are too much and leave them off. If they do, there is no hole in the top staring up at you.A word about the suction cup feet that I show mounted under the large base. They may be just the thing if you have polished smooth floors. But on carpet and the textured tile on our floors, the suction feet do not adhere the tree to the floor. They actually lend a tiny bit of unstabiity to it. … I ended up taking them off. It is quite stable without the feet in our house.The cat tree works great. (According to our 17 lb. American Short Hair and her littler sister.It’s height is perfect for the long reach of the 17 lb. cat. Both cats love it!I give it 5 stars.

Good Scratching Surface
This is OK. The thing I do not care for and apparently my cat does not either is the artificial greenery that attaches to the top. It serves no cat purpose and I soon removed it. I guess it is there to make this look like something other than a car scratching post as it sits in your den. Other than that, it works fine as a scratching post.

Simple and effective!
I’m super happy with this scratching post. It was VERY easy to put together (as some other reviews noted, there is seemingly one missing piece according to the instructions, but I think it was actually a piece that got built-into another piece hence it is obsolete and the instructions were just never updated – you can just ignore it). Also, you do have to puncture the top fabric to screw the leaves in. Some people seemed to consider this a negative but I actually think it’s really clever. If you don’t want the leaves (and I imagine some people don’t) then you get a clean green fabric top without a hole. If you want the leaves attached, you can very VERY easily make a hole there (I just used the included allen wrench to poke the hole.I also have to say, the inclusion of the suction cups on the bottom is ‘genius’. Cats topple posts like this over all the time, and this just provides a bit extra protection against that. Not all floors are going to be hard, flat, smooth surfaces, so they aren’t perfect, but if you have a hard floor of some kind, it does help!

Our kitty loves it
This is a very simple cat scratching post. It is tall enough for our adult kitty to use and hefty and stable enough for them not to knock over. It includes a faux plant that helps it blend into our house because we have a lot of plants. It was packaged well, shipped fast and arrived quickly.

Super cute and easy to assemble
I was tired of my old scratching post bringing down the look of my living room. It is the first thing you see when you come into my house so I try my hardest making it look nice. This cat scratcher quickly replaced my old one! It looks like the photo, a fake plant scratcher. My cats love it! Not as much as the Christmas tree, but this should sate them after the holidays. It was easy to put together. The bobber recess did not match with the bottom and was unable to be attached, but I don’t care, they don’t play with that on their big cat tree either. I liked the aesthetic and that it gives them something else to scratch besides the side of the couch. Super cool!

Our cat really loves this scratching post! She uses it all the time, and it is sturdy enough to hold her (considerable) weight. Our cat is a bit bigger because she is a ragdoll, but this post has held up well!

A friend of mine has one of these for his cat, so when I saw it I jumped at the chance to get one. It’s exactly as pictured, designed to look like a mini tree. It’s not too big, but a good height for an adult cat to stretch completely when using it (a lot of scratching posts like this aren’t tall enough for an adult cat, so that was a real plus to me!)

This is a VERY sturdy scratching post. There are even suction cups included to install underneath, in case you plan on putting this on something other than carpet. It’s very tall, at least two feet. This item is not hideous and can easily fit into any decor. The leaves on the top are plastic, so not sure if my new cat will destroy them, but they can easily be replaced with something else.

I recently purchased the 38″ Tall Scratching Post for my two cats, and while it’s a well-built piece of cat furniture. The sisal rope is sturdy and seems perfect for scratching, but for some reason, my cats just aren’t into the spring toy or the dangling balls attached to it. They just sniffed around it a couple of times and walked away, which was a bit disappointing given how playful they usually are with new toys.That said, the actual scratching post part is durable and tall, which is great for cats who love to stretch and scratch. If your cat isn’t too fussy about toys and you’re primarily looking for a solid scratching post to protect your furniture, this could still be a good option. Just donât count on the toys being a big hit if your cats are picky like mine!

This is a cute, high quality cat scratch post. The design is simple and does not create an eyesore in your living room. The posts are robust. Assembly is easy with a couple of bolts and Allen key that is provided. The bottom plate has suction cups that screw in to protect your floor.The cats started playing on it as soon as I put it together and use it everyday. It is holding up well with the cats scratching and climbing it fairly frequently.
