lots of fibers hanging out
I bought these to make a tall climbing post for my cats. They did make a sturdy long pole when put together but there is a lot of fibers hanging out that will come off easily when pulled. They just look so messy. I wish I would have taken a pic before wrapping the pole but forgot. One of my cats, she is two, still chews everything. I was afraid she would ingest the fibers so I had to wrap the pole with a different material. They did include a lot of hardware and the allen wrench which was nice. I wish I would have just bought a 4×4 piece of lumber at the store and wrapped that.
