Cat Loves IT!
Donât know why it received only a 3.5 rating. My FERAL (Lily)cat turn domesticated cat loves it. We bought the whole unit and stayed away from anything battery powdered. Sure itâs not fancy but it more than does the job of keeping her entertained. Would definitely buy it again without giving it a second thought. Everything in the picture is awesome.

Update to 3 stars – Fun add-on toy for cat though it can get top heavy and tip over easily
Update: this broke the next day. It did keep the cat entertained but I would stick to simple/inexpensive options for cat.************This is definitely a fun toy for my cat who enjoys swatting and biting the butterfly. However, I do want to note that the first one we received was missing the butterfly, but Amazon was able to replace it quickly. Second, the topper seems to be too heavy for the tower base. When the cat swats or bites at the butterfly, the tower tends to tilt over and start spinning, which scares my cat away (but he will come back for more). The sensor doesnât seem to stop the toy from spinning when itâs sideways. And it can get noisy when it spins out to the hardwood floor. Itâs for some supervised fun for your cat.

Depends on your cat ð
I have 2 cats. 1 is scared of it and the other will watch it occasionally. You know how it goes. It’s a crap shoot.A little pricey, works as described. Nice construction. There are no clear instructions as how to attach this item to the cat stages roller ball thingee its made to go on top of, which I also purchased along with it so it falls off. I haven’t had to replace the battery yet.The roller balls get more attention when I play with them. I think kittens would love this.

Returning – Basic cat toy, falls over
I bought this product as a way to help my 2 year old energetic cat for some enrichment. I wouldnât recommend it for an energetic cat or really at all.Unfortunately, I thought this simple toy would be entertaining enough underestimating how simple the toy is. It is not sturdy as there is no suction cup on the bottom or weighted base to keep the toy from being knocked over. Iâm not sure if the additional tower would help with that issue but I wouldnât think so.Itâs too lightweight and gets knocked over easily, making the point to âpawâ at it to have the tears come out pointless. Also if you paw too hard at it the fish will fall out easy as it just clicks into place and is able to turn. Thereâs nothing preventing it from rotating out or being pushed out.

Not great, hard to spin and needs a more weighted base
I was really excited to get this, I’ve been wanting to try out these interactive toys for my cats to try and challenge them a little. Unfortunately, this was not it. It’s very tough to spin, and I watched my cats attempt and it’s just sad. They push it, it moves down a little bit, they push again, a little more. And they go to paw it one more time to actually get all the way and it will just fall over, and the cat obviously loses interest. Very annoying, super disappointing. If anything, I guess it let me know how paw-oriented my cats are, and gives me ideas for future toys to get that are NOT this. Honestly I just threw it away after a couple days because it was just taking up floor space and taunting all of us.

Works as designed, unfortunately my cat is orange.
My cat could not figure this toy out to get any treats to dispense, but he is… orange. My dog on the other hand was very good at figuring it out and stealing all of my cat’s treats. It’s well made, the problem wasn’t the toy, it was my cat.

Cute idea! Butâ¦..
Really cute concept but it does not spin freely enough for my cat to understand how to work it! If it was modified so it could spin a few times with a good whack it would be much more fun for them. Iâve resorted to just taking the little fish off the holder so they can just bat it around on the floor instead, this works but itâs a little noisy

Cats love it
Entertained my cats with ease. Love the functionality that it can be used as a stand alone toy or added to other things.
