Easy assembly, heavy ceramic
I really like this slow feeder set, but it does have a couple minor flaws. It arrived well packed and protected, which I appreciated. The assembly is very simple – you just screw the legs into the base and it’s ready. The ceramic bowls are very heavy and substantial. They fit perfectly in a recessed space on the stand. The water dish is very deep, which will help contain splashes and holds plenty of water for larger dogs. The description says this set is for medium to large breeds, but I don’t think the height of the stand is enough for most larger breeds. This height is more suitable to smaller breeds, so I’m just going to have my husband build an extension for the stand so it works for our dog, because the bowl sizes are great. I really like that the dishes aren’t plastic or steel, and they look really nice in the kitchen with a coordinating splash mat under the stand. My only real complaint is that the ceramic bowls are two very noticeable different shades of pink. It doesn’t affect the function in any way, but it’s just not as nice looking as if the bowls had matched. Overall, this is a great value for a high quality raised feeder that has no plastic components!

THE BEST RAISED FEEDER IâVE FOUND!
I love this new feeder! More importantly, my dog loves it! The ceramic bowls are sturdy & high quality & very easy to clean! Even cleaning the slow feeder bowl is so easy! No caked-on nasty bits! The feed dish is easier for my dog to navigate than his plastic slow-feed bowls. I love the color (I got the green). Having the water elevated to is wonderful-no more spills! The stand itself is nice looking & well made. Assembly is a cinch! You just screw on the legs & place the rubber tabs on the stand (not the bowls) at 12, 3, 6 & 9. Iâll definitely be buying another one!
