Purchase and repeat
This is one of my dog’s favorite toys. He is a large, aggressive chewing, Pitbull. He keeps these for a long time and uses it to comfort himself to sleep sometimes. He still suckles and kneads like a baby when lulling himself to sleep at times. He will go looking for it when it is time for bed. It has a squeak that he loves and he will constantly annoy you with it, squeaking and putting on you to try to make you play. It gets very wet from him biting and whatever he be doing so it does be disgustingly wet sometimes, so you don’t want to play with that! But he be relentless and forces you to play. It is sturdy and one of his longest lasting toys. We play tug of war or he bites around on it throughout the day. He will take a tentacle off here and there but over a long period of time, but not destroy it completely all at once like some other toys. Weeks or months this toy lasts. And when it gets a little too old looking or decrepit, about every 3 months, I purchase another one and repeat the cycle. My pitbull pooch recommends.

Disappointed at first, but a happy ending!
I bought this specifically for a medium sized dog that loves to chew. She likes stuffed animals and squeaky toys. Unfortunately most toys don’t last. So I specifically looked for a squeaky toy that did not have regular stuffing and that was size and chew style appropriate. The description had all the things I was looking for. Unfortunately my dog chewed off a leg from the octopus in less than 10 minutes. Yes I’m disappointed. The description made me feel like it was superior to what I could find at the large chain pet supply store. I admit it is cute. But it’s meant for a small dog or puppy. Not an aggressive chewer. Definitely not for a medium to large dog. There is no durability. I had to take it away and I’ve ordered something else. More money spent, which is not what I wanted. **Update:Seller is amazing and honest! Refunded me with my asking and sending my dog a new toy to try! Thank you! I appreciate an honest seller. Will let you all know how the new toy works out. **Roxy recieved her replacement chew toy immediately. She loved it and it’s perfect and very sturdy! Outstanding customer service! I will definitely give you my business again!

Not for big dogs or aggressive chewers
I gave this 3 stars because my dog absolutely went crazy for this toy, but it unfortunately met with a quick and messy demise. I couldnât get it away from him. However, it should NOT be marketed as a toy suitable for aggressive chewers. It lasted less than a day before my standard poodle had it chewed up with stuffing strewn everywhere. I will note that even with the tentacles held together by a string (and partially chewed down to stumps), he still wouldnât give it up until I brokered a trade with a very high value treat. So, in summary, if your dog isnât a chewer I would highly recommend; not suitable for chewers though.
