Chuckit! Air Fetch Stick Dog Toy, Small, Orange

My Entlebucher will play for hours and hours with this toy!Pros: the holes allow easy breathing while running and holding it in her mouth. It’s soft and squishy which is great because my dog chipped her canine tooth on a hard toy last year and is banned from hard toys now. One of these bones will last a few months of daily play with an enthusiastic dog. Even when some of the center parts rip from enthusiastic biting, the toy is still intact and lasts a long time.Cons: We have to actively monitor the dog with this toy. It has to be constant fetch/retrieve. If we let her have it on her own, she will EAT it. I don’t know if it tastes good or what? But she has managed to eat parts of these in the past. Thankfully, she has passed the parts (which makes easy ID in the yard due to bright orange color.)Anyway, it’s good enough that I have this on my subscribe & save so that I always have a backup in the closet if I need one.

Worried that it might be too big for her mouth but works well with my little dogs. Has some big bounces and isnt too hard so I can through it inside without make crazy noise. Good toy

Didn’t last a day. My 14lb Chug ripped a chunk out of it when I left it on the floor. Was15″ long, now it’s 12″! It’s has a good weight and feel to it but not sturdy enough. This Air Fetch is more for what is implied, to throw and have your dog fetch it. I believed that it was a chew toy as well but it is so flexible that it can rip easily. That was my mistake so that’s why I’m giving 3 out of 5 stars. Didn’t bother returning as it was not worth my time. Was bought for less that 10$.

Good throw stick
Product is a good weight for throwing, neither too heavy nor too light. Loss of a star for orange color. Dogs can only see shades of blues and yellows. This means that your dog doesn’t see orange as orange. In fact, to dogs, orange actually looks like a dull gold color. A bright blue would be best. Green color appears yellow to the dogs. On the other hand, red colored toys do not appear red, rather looks dark gray to your dog. Dogs can only distinguish blue and yellow, but not red and green. So an orange toy on grass looks like yellow on yellow.Seems to have decent chew resistance but my dog doesn’t try to devour it.

Our two springer spaniels have been playing with this thing for eight months. They love carrying it probably because it doesn’t obstruct breathing.It has enough mass to be able to throw a good distance. It floats and it bounces.They’ve been playing with this almost constantly and is showing some wear. I expect it will be in two pieces soon.But it’s very good value for money and we will definitely replace it when it eventually breaks.Eight paws up for this item.

Hace tres años compré un Chuckit! Air Fetch Stick y es hasta ahora el mejor juguete que ha tenido mi perro. Finalmente después de este plazo comenzó a romperse y estuve buscando por todas partes otro palo de la misma marca. Ya no lo conseguí en México, pero me alegró mucho poder comprarlo en Amazon de Estados Unidos. En cuánto lo abrí, noté que el material era mucho más flexible y que el diseño era distinto, pero nunca imaginé que el nuevo palo le duraría a mi perro ¡un día y medio! Lo destruyó por completo en un rato, y puedo decir que después de tres años de uso diario e intensivo, el palo viejo está aún en mejor estado que el palo nuevo en menos de dos días. Tuve que quitárselo a mi perro, porque se rompió en peligrosos fragmentos, de los que se comió uno, que por fortuna vomitó en la noche. Espero que vuelvan a fabricar el palo con el material y la estructura que antes tenía. Era de altísima calidad ¡era perfecto! En cambio, el Chuckit! Air Fetch Stick actual es sin duda, el peor juguete que ha tenido mi perro ¡Estoy muy decepcionada!
