Wonderful little tool!
GREAT LITTLE TOOL!!! I love this lil thing! First, it can in 2 tones of teal (the new colors I guess) instead of the purple and green handle, but itâs so cute! I love using this tool to demat delicate areas like doodle ears, muzzles, tails and curly coated top knots. It works effortlessly with very little force and slides through mats like butter! This lil tool is also really effective on loosening impacted undercoats to make brushing them out with other tools much easier. I have small hands and can use the tool easily, I could see someone with a wider hand possibly having a harder time with it since the handle isnât too long to grip onto. Itâs super easy to use, fits well in my hands and has helped me with so many grooms already! Definitely a tool to add to the arsenal if youâre considering to get one!

Works on matted coat.
This rake helps to break up matting on our dogs. We try not to let the coat get that way, but it does sometimes. This helps preserve length of coat.

Fantastic little brush
I ordered 2 versions of different brands from separate Amazon listings. I included Halloween candy in the photo for scale. The larger brush was great to get through the mats on the main body of my 11 lb Yorkie. The smaller brush was perfect to tackle any mats under his leg joints, by his neck, face, ears, and base of his tail where he is most sensitive. My husband and I both grabbed a brush to work on each end of him, so that helped to keep my pup from attacking one of the brushes. These brushes saved me endless hours of pain-staking knot and mat removal. They are probably slight sharper than butter knives at the under-side where it cuts and loosens the mess. Now I can finally brush him with a normal bristle brush on a clean slate! Thank you for having this product available!

What a great little tool for grooming a small dog
I have a small Imperial Shih Tzu who loves to get out into the woods and chase squirrels and imaginary varmints. This is all well and good and I love his exercising; however, his growing hair, especially around his legs, picks up all kinds of debris from just plain dirt to pieces of leaves, acorns, and who knows what else. I quickly found that a traditional brush just was too cumbersome to help. This little tool is perfect! First, it has small steel teeth hat dig into whatever tangle or debris is there, and because it is easy to handle, it brushes it right out. When detangling, I find it easier if I handle it a little at a time, but my dog thinks this little tool is for playtime and will cooperate with me usually. Certainly, after a few uses, I am hooked on it and recommend it for any of you pet owners who deal with long hair. It is wonderful! As I mentioned, the teeth are steel, but the manufacturer has thoughtfully provided a very handy heavy plastic covering for it so that both you and the pet are protected when it is the grooming box. I love that. The teeth secion is just under two inches so it is easy to get to the tangles and debris. The handle is rubber and comfortable to both me and my pup. You will enjoy grooming more as will your pet.

Must have tool for matted hair!
I wish I had known about these a long time ago. I have every other comb and brush I’ve heard of but none work like these. My dog hates most grooming, so I needed a way to get out mats that he wouldn’t notice much at all. With this, I can pull the mat up a bit, and then hold the roots so he doesn’t even notice while I get it out. I don’t have to worry about cutting him, like with scissors, since I can face the sharp side away from him. I didn’t give it a 5 only because I wish it were sharper so it would slice the hair easier, but I know others might not like it that way. I also need something bigger. I think this is best for a tiny dog. Ours is about 20 lb with lots of hair. Whether this one or a different one, for sure get one of these!

Perfect for my older Pomeranian
Now that my Pomeranian has gotten a little bit older, she really doesn’t enjoy the grooming process. I try to do a little bit at a time but on occasion I will get matting, especially after a bath. I just tried this brush out today and it was amazing. It appeared to be very gentle and effective at getting mats or thicker Tufts out of her body. It’s a really good size for a small dog, but I would get a bigger one if you have a dog more than 25 lb. It’s a really well made comb that feels sturdy.

La primera impresión es que es muy pequeño, creà que no podrÃa sostenerlo con mi mano .. Sin embargo funciona muy bien, tengo 3 shih tzu’s con manto largo y realmente ayuda en los nudos de las orejas.. El único problema es que abusar de él podrÃa dejar pelones a mis perros, mejor usarlo lo menos posible!

I use this in the salon on almost every mat/sized dog. Itâs better than the larger ones because the teeth are closer together and the handle is small making it easy to fit in hard to reach places. I like that it also comes with a safety protector. I would recommend and buy again.

Our labradoodle lives on a farm and loves to hunt for mice in the field. Problem? Burrs! This little “comb” fits between the hair and the burr and slices right through it. Sometimes the burr is pulled out whole but usually it comes out in smaller pieces that don’t pull her skin. I LOVE it!
