Effective & Easy
Our dog has a prescription for Appaquel, but I wanted to see if his red skin would be helped without pills. After reading about this product and many reviews, I decided to try it and am beyond impressed. First off, the spa treatment bonding time of rubbing this on your dogâs belly, arm pits, and feet is lovely. The powder smells great, but isnât strong. I didnât need much powder to cover a decent area because it is very fine. I noticed a difference in the skin in about 2 days. There was less yeast, less crusting, less odor, and less irritation. A few days after that – there was a complete clearing of the skin and his belly was back to white! I do notice that if he goes a few days without using it and heâs in the grass a lot heâll start to get red again, so we powder again and it helps again! Honestly, I love this product and my dogs are certainly not complaining!

Amazing product
My dog constant scratching was a concern. The spray products did nothing and he ran when trying to apply. After the first application of Coat Defense, the scratching was minimal. During the second application, my dog laid still and allowed me to massage the in his coat. Havenât noticed him scratching. We are happy about thatðððâ¤ï¸â¤ï¸â¤ï¸

Works but comes off if dogs rubs on caroet
This powder was very absorbent and did absorb some of the dampness and moisture on my dogs belly. It is important to rub it in very well. Make sure you walk your dog around afterwards so your dog canât rub the powder off when he rubs himself on the carpet.We did notice that it helped with the rashes and redness. Itâs pricey so Iâm not sure Iâll buy it again. It smells really nice and is easy to put on their belly, or sprinkle it in your hand and then rub their belly.

My dog was miserable from itchy skin.
Using this product just one time I noticed an immediate improvement in my dog’s constant scratching and licking. Easy to use. Seems to last for a a good while and there’s no smell. Since it’s a dry powder there’s no mess.

Disappointed
I was trying to take a picture of this along with the other product I bought at the same time first disappointment was it was supposed to be here on Wednesday then they said Saturday it actually came on Friday I’m a truck driver so delivery times are very important to me because I have to be on the road I drive all 48 states that being said I have a 6 month old pitbull who is very stinky either on Facebook or tick tock I saw a product if this is not it similar to it so I ended up buying two different products this one didn’t have very many buys yet but it had five stars so my second disappointment is I put this on my dog and within an hour he still smelled horrific the second product I bought worked for most of the day because he went outside and it was raining it had a light lavender scent this has no sense it’s in the size of a small spice bottle that you would get at Walmart in the 99 cent spice rack it was more pricey than the other products overall very not happy with it I will not be purchasing this further on I will probably actually donate this at my job because we have a table for drivers and there’s a lot of drivers that have dogs maybe it’ll work on somebody else’s dog but for my pitbull with his funky smell no

My poor rescue dog, a white and black springer doodle, had a terrible hot spit on her back and tail. After just a couple days of the powder, she stopped locking and biting at it and it cleared up!

Disappointed â Doesnât Seem to Work
I had high hopes for this product based on the description, but unfortunately, it doesnât appear to be effective. I followed the instructions, but it didnât provide the anti-itch relief or deodorizing benefits as promised. My dogâs skin issues and odor remained unchanged after multiple applications.I appreciate that itâs made in the USA and offers a waterless option, but sadly, it didnât deliver the results I was looking for. Wouldnât recommend based on my experience.
