Big and absorbent
My dog is great but he got into steroid cream for my partners eczema and it caused him to have to pee every hour for weeks straight. These pads were a life saver. Absorbent, covered a large area, rip resistant, easy to clean.

These pads are larger than most dog pads and a good price for the 40 or 80 per package. I have used them well over a year now for my min Pin and Min Schnauzer. I can use one, or preferably two at one time, and they provide good coverage for both of them for a full day.

Great large size. My dog is potty trained but we have accidents. Seems to seep through and when my dog walks, the urine does go over the edge. Otherwise great product!

What can I say about training pads? They tend to be expensive if you’re buying them from one of the “P” name stores. I’ve found these to not only be a better value for the quantity but they also prevent liquid from seeping through for a longer period of time compared to other, more expensive pads.

Dog/puppy pads for older dogs
These are the thickest, largest XL training pads Iâve found. Look, nothing (these days) is 100% absorbent if itâs a lot of fluid and left for a while. Back in the day, training pads had a layer of maybe nitrile or something, on the back. We canât do that anymore – so we look for the next best thing. I have large dogs – 80 pounds and 60 pounds. My boyâs bladder is insane – it holds a LOT of liquid. I was using a diff brand of pads beneath his blanket and he had a full on bladder evacuation in his sleep. It ruined my mattress. It filled the top dog blanket, leaked thru the double layer of puppy pads beneath, leaked thru my comforter, sheets and mattress protector. So I decided I needed a new brand of pads and I needed TWO sets of double layers plus one layer of people bed pads. I canât be buying a new mattress each month when my dudeâs UTI sneaks back up (yes – heâs been to the vet each time – heâs old – we give him meds and await the return). So anyways – he peed and I woke up to two things – his UTI was back and these pads did their job! The pee didnât sink thru – the whole top pad was full and some leaked out the sides to the bordering pads (I stagger them, no worries). I doubt he peed hours and hours before – probably within the hour – but dang itâs a lot of pee and these held up!I buy these to layer beneath the dog blanket on my bed. My big dogs are older – bladder control is lessening and UTIâs show up without warning. Anyways – I bought a different brand and I was indignant – a total waste of money. They fell apart as soon as I took them out of the package. This brand is so much better! THESE PADS ARE FANTASTIC!!! Iâm very happy with these.I also use them, upside down (plastic type layer on top) beneath a blanket, for my dogs to eat their frozen Kongs on. This keeps any mess from soaking thru the blanket to the floor/carpet. They hold up really well – theyâve lasted thru several daily uses that way. As for my bed – I change them out every week when I change my bedding. Theyâre still in tact and in good shape! I only change them for allergy purposes or for the rare sleep potty accident.I highly recommend these. My dog got his recurrent UTI again. He had an accident while sleeping and these worked. Like I said, I layer them – to make sure every inch is covered – and they are absorbent.At the price point I purchased these at – Iâll definitely reorder each month. Because! I need a new package each month and for the price – these are perfect.

UPDATE::: NO ISSUES WITH PADS.Made a mistake in review. The leaking was not due to faulty pads. These pads did not leak it was my fault. I cleaned the carpets a few days prior and thought I let it dry enough but I didnt and when I lifted pads they were wet bc of condensation of carpets still being damp. Iâve bought these before no problem at all so I was happy this was my mistake. Great pads and it was the actual size it states 28×30.Iâve never had a problem with any brand of pads Iâve ever bought leaking through the bottom at least none that Iâve noticed until now. Iâve purchased these in the past and no issues but I just bought the 28×30 80ct cocoyo brand to replace the horrible AKC brand pads I bought which were smaller than usual and not as absorbent with it pooling on top of pad, which Iâd rather than them leaking through, and these were soaking wet on my floor and you could see wetness on bottom of pad. I donât recommend these or AKC brand anymore. In the plus size they were the correct size.

I tried a lot of different training pads when my dog was incontinent for a few days after having surgery. These were the best. They absorb a lot of liquid, never leak through and are a large enough to place under a dog when they are lying down.
