My Cats Love these!
These mats are great! I have 2 of the large size mats, and they really are cool, and stay cool; you don’t have to do anything to them. They are durable, and the gel inside creates a nice cushion. My 2, indoor cats actually lay on them, and you know how picky cats can be! At first glance, I thought they were pricey, but so glad I made the purchase. With hot weather already here, invest in your pet(s) comfort!

Got this for my pittie that runs hot. I previously had one from AKC and it was amazing!! I then bought a cheaper one that is just a colder material but doesn’t have the gel.. and he didn’t like that one. So I moved on to this one since I could not find another by AKC. I figured Coleman.. cant go wrong. But its like barely filled with gel. It’s been a few years since I’ve had one of these mats, but I remember being able to step on the other mat and was able to stand on the cooling gel. When I step on this one, the gel moves to the side and I’m basically stepping on the floor.I know my dog laying on it will take up a greater area so he would be more on gel than the small area of my foot. I just don’t like my older baby laying on the hardwood and I feel like I need to lay this on his bed vs straight on the floor.Four stars because I feel like the item is as described and works as described, I just wish there was more gel in it.

Cooler than rest of floor. Dog nails can scratch holes in but can easily patch up at least a few times with vinyl pool patch.
We got one of these from somewhere else for our dog as can get hot here and he likes it to be cooler.He likes these pads a lot. They are a fair amount cooler than the rest of the floor. He alternates with the stone floor and this throughout the day.The only drawback is that when he gets up or excited those little nails of his sometimes open the pad up and then we have the gel inside on the outside. So we used vinyl pool patch on the last one for about 5 times and then invested in another pad.Hopefully he can try to not use his nails on this one.He is a fairly large dog, but he gets most of his body on the pad and he is happy.

Perfect for cooling down doggie
Our dog LOVES this product. He has long hair and is almost always overheated. As soon as he comes inside from playing, he makes a b-line straight to this mat. He doesn’t chew, so not sure if it’s durable for dogs that tend to chew, but he does have nails that can get sharp between groomings and we’ve never had an issue with him popping the canvass. Mat is easy to clean, easy to shove under the couch when we’re cleaning, and isn’t ugly so we don’t mind having it in our living room or kitchen. For photo reference, Dog is 50 lbs and about the size of a black lab.

I dislike this product I does not stay room temperature as it says and I have to put it the fridge for it to go back to cold temperatures.

Rips easily
Our dog loves these, however this one was torn in 1 day. Our dog does not bite or pull on them it was just normal laying. The seems burst and gel everywhere. Not worth the extra money. Buy the cheaper version for the same disposable results.

Great but don’t recommend for all dogs
I have 2 Goldens and they love to be cool so I purchased these. They love them and they do keep them cool. Unfortunately dogs like to “arrange” their beds and move them at times and they tear. My 6 month old puppy also chewed the edge so the gel oozes and there is no patch kit for repair. So after replacing 2 only to have another incident I do not recommend unless your dog is older and will not scratch or chew on this.

I expected a large mat to fit a large dog like they show in their picture with a golden retriever, it does not.The large would Barley fit a medium sized dog, my dog loves it but it barely fits under her belly.Also the product has a lot of air in it, so she cant get full contact with the gel.Would not recommend this product.
