This is thick and sturdy and large enough for the doggy couch. I had enough of their heavy panting. This cools them down right nicely. Also itâs a good value! Some I saw were ridiculous. This one is white. The last one was green.

Great for my Belgian Shepherd mix
It’s summer and I live in California where the heat sucks. And my dog often never grows out of her winter coat. Even after hours of brushing, she still maintains her coat. So I figured I’d buy something to help her keep cool and this was it.I thought it would be a little bit bigger, but it’s a perfect size for her body. She can lay her body on most of it save for her legs. At first she was very opposed to using it, but sure enough as it got warmer, she was much more open to laying on it. Now she uses it all the time. It activates quickly and keeps her cool as long as she’s on it. It’s not heavy either so I pick it up and move it around our home, because she goes where I go, so I move it from room to room.I wouldn’t say this qualifies as a bed or mattress for the dogs. It’s something great to put over their bed though.I wouldn’t be opposed to using this for myself either. It’s easy to clean and worth the purchase. I’d recommend it for you or your furry friend in times of great heat.

Got this for my GSD and he seem to like laying on it. It did feel cool to the touch when I pressed on it. I do wish it had a thin cover for it but so far so good. No leaks and I also used it in the car.Update: had to return as it sprung a leak

This is the third Coleman mat that I’ve purchased. The mat works very well. Unfortunately, after a few weeks the pups chewed through the edges of the first one. The gel bled out and cried out to me from my tiled floor. The second one only lasted a few days.I lamented the wasted money but the days are so hot I bought another one. This is the last time. If this doesn’t work, I won’t buy this mat again. There is clearly something about the vinyl that makes it chew-attractive to some dogs.This time, I put the mat into an old pillowcase. I closed the pillowcase with some Velcro and put it on her bed. So far, it’s working like a charm. Could she chew through the pillowcase? Probably, but it’s been 10 days and I haven’t seen any evidence that she is interested.

This was a Christmas present for my 3 grand fur babies!!! The 2 bigger ones always run hot even in the colder months. They love this mat and are always on it. I was not looking to spend the money I did, but I thought Coleman is a very good brand and it has been around for decades what could go wrong? Well let me tell you just with them walking on it and laying on the mat it has tears, the worse part is the gel is leaking out! Disclaimer says gel is non toxic regardless I do not want them licking, eating it! Now the mat is in the garbage not even a month old and so is my $30. Thank goodness my babies didn’t get sick!!I feel this company should do some testing or quality control before selling items like this!Maybe refunding me would be nice too!!! So I can replace their Christmas presents!!!

My dog will not lie on the mat and it has been several weeks since it arrived. I will keep it around hoping he will eventually use it. I like how it is made and I like it because I can roll it up. Hoping my dog will eventually like it. It would be great to take it on trips or to the park

Our Dog loves it, cleans easy and durable
Our 50 lb chocolate lab mix loves this mat. She fits mostly all the way on it. We’ve had it for 5 months. She always digs a lot at things when she lays down. And so far it has held up to her brutality. Only 2 small scratches in the outer gray fabric in photo, but it is completely sealed and none of the cooling product has escaped.Finally cleaned it today after 5 months. Boy did it smell. Used water and a little diluted simple green cleaner and a small fingernail cleaning brush. CAME SUPER CLEAN and didn’t smell at all! I was really impressed with this product.We live on a boat and use it mainly in the shaded cock pit area so she can be out with us and stay cool. Also use it at night between her and her bed like in the picture.Would recommend this and but another one if I ever need to. Good for human use too!

My pup loves this in the summer!
I was a little skeptical at first, but after a few days it was clear that this may was a winner. My dog loves lying on this when itâs hotâ prefers it to get her bed, which is next to itâ and Iâm thrilled not to worry that sheâs too hot! Itâs durable, waterproof, and I LOVE that it doesnât require any prep work on my end.

I really liked the product upon arrival. I even convinced my border collie mix pup to lie on it. Then 5 minutes later he chewed up the sides and the gel came oooozing out. Unsure how good the product is as I had it for all of 15 minutes. I am confident it could have been great. Good weight. Perfect size for my 45 lb, 8 month old pup. Folds up well.
