Looks nice; feels a little less durable than it looks
My cat loves to look at this, and thin about sitting in it, but it ain’t yet (in almost a month) and it has NEVER scratched it. So, yeah, it’s durable…for now. I like the look. The wood exterior makes it blend in more with th floors and furniture, but it is clearly cheap material (wasn’t expecting much more, I guess), but the thing with these cat “toys” is that they are always hit or miss–not the fault of the product; just a consequence of the cat’s personality. Would I buy one again? Probably not. It was meant to deter the cat from scratching other things in the house, and that it has not done. But if he one day decides this is the greatest thing next to a leather sofa, I will revise the review.

Fits the big boys
I have two cats that loveeeeee cardboard scratch items to lay in for naps and scratchâs. My grey one is about 12lbs and heâs a lot bigger than most cats and the cream one is about 14 lbs and heâs a really big boy. They both fit in this and choose it over the smaller ones that I have.

Very aesthetically pleasing, matches my decor. Love how the scratching part is rope rather than cardboard, so no mess. Keep in mind itâs good for a small cat, mine is 7-8 LB and itâs perfect size but a 10lb+ cat might be spilling off the edges.
