Sturdy
These are really nice cookie scoops. Sturdy to handle stiff dough. It’s hard to find good quality cookie scoops, these scoops are just that. They don’t fall apart like most do. I have bought scoops that are rated 4 to 5 stars and they fall apart mid way through baking cookies. Would highly recommend them.

Good quality, but a little hard on the thumb
I’m using these to scoop cookie dough. It’s great to have a set of different sizesâthey’re quite practical and seem to be well-made, and they go through the dishwasher without issues. But I find the mechanism a little hard on the thumb. Even though I have fairly large hands, the trigger is set wide and is a little uncomfortable to engage. That aside, it’s a quality set and reasonably priced.

Great Set
Finally got to use this set during the holidays. Our large ice cream scooper and our small one was starting to lose it’s spring. The set of 3 gives us a nice medium sized one which is great for scooping meatballs. I really love this set. The sizes are perfect. The quality is great and they are quite sturdy.

NICE QUALITY, BUT . . .
. . . I just cannot overlook the fact that these three metal scoops do NOT have a rubberized grip-style handle. I found it impossible to scoop (somewhat hard) ice cream with these. They should work okay with sherbert, which is quite a bit softer, but forget about any harder types of ice cream. If using these as cookie dough scoops, then these should also work okay.This set of three scoops features a very large scoop, a ânormalâ size ice cream scoop, and a small cookie dough scoop. In some of my photos, you will see a ânormalâ size black plastic scoop, which does NOT come with this set. My black plastic scoop is only shown for size comparison and to show the grip-style handle.I like the fact that this set of three scoops is made from stainless steel; however, these really need to feature a rubberized âgripper-styleâ handle. If you have already purchased these, one suggestion would be to dip the handle into a can of Flex-Seal and allow it to dry in order to create a make-shift grip handle, which I might do with the set I now own. However, I would highly recommend that the manufacturer consider professionally adding gripper-style handles to these scoops in order to make them much more user-friendly.

I usually buy portion scoops and dishes from restaurant supply stores, so I am used two tools with the kind of quality made to stand up to daily use and constant handling. I was a little skeptical about these dishes given the price, but they are reasonable quality, and a good value. The size range is good for many different applications.All parts of the scoops are metal. Personally, I would have preferred a textured or silicone handle to improve grip ability. Metal handles tend to be slippery if your hands are wet. The triggers have good spring back. There are a couple of rough edges where the metal was cut that could have been polished better, but it is not going to cause a problem.The weak points on tools like this are usually the spring inside the scoop and the trigger. These appear to be fairly well-made, and should last if not forced to do work beyond their capacity, such as extremely frozen ice creams or extremely stiff refrigerated cookie doughs. Scoops are supposed to be dishwasher safe. I have found that dishwasher detergents are incredibly harsh on anything, but the highest quality stainless. To avoid pitting, I would recommend handwashing these. You could probably get away with putting them in the dishwasher now and then, but not as a steady habit.Considering that one really good commercial quality scooper can run $20-$25, three scoopers at this price are a bargain, especially if they are not going to be used daily.
