Too big for a small breed puppy
I just got this and I can’t speak to how long it lasts or keeps the food off the floor because I won’t be using it for some time because it’s too big. I expected it to be a lot smaller than it is. It is probably great for a dog around 15 pounds or so but I have a small breed puppy and he wouldn’t be able to reach the food. The bowls are pretty thin but it’s the size that is more important to me. (Someone said it came with a travel bowl but I think it’s a slow feed bowl. It’s hard and the travel bowls I’ve seen are soft and have no channels.)I have it 4 stars because I like the design and the anti-ant moat.

I absolutely love this dog bowl and mat set! My dog loves to play in our backyard, so we needed a dog bowl that we could use outside. However, we often found that ants would crawl into his bowl, which was a major hassle. But ever since we purchased this bowl and mat set, that problem has been completely solved!The mat is incredibly useful, as it not only keeps water and food from getting all over the ground, but it also effectively prevents ants from getting into the bowl. We simply place the bowl on the mat and pour some water in its lip, the ants are unable to climb up and get into the bowl!In addition, this dog bowl and mat set has many other useful features. It’s very easy to clean, as we can simply wash them with soap and water, and they dry off easily. I love this feeding bowl set with the exception of the slow feeder insert which my puppy pulled out immediately and spilled her food all over. If it âclicked inâ or was held in by something it would have gotten 5 stars.
