Very effective
I have been invited by Amazon to take part in the Amazon Vine program & I take that very seriously.I order products I am interested in, try them out and give my honest review on that product.I am not paid in any way by Amazon or the sellers for my reviews.Since I am an Amazon customer as well, I provide as much detail as possible for other customers in order to help make an informed decision on the products. I do not recommend products I myself wouldn’t use.I’m not a fan of bark collars. I only used one once many years ago and didn’t like how strong it was. When this one crossed my Amazon Vine feed, I decided to give it a try since it has other options.I have 3 dogs, Bella the Pit Bull, Nyah the Pomeranian & Maggie the mutt who I inherited when my Mom passed away a few months ago.Maggie is a barker and she has no manners so I’m in the process of teaching her.Since this bark collar doesn’t just shock, I thought this might be a good option for Maggie. She’s about 25 pounds so she’s on the smaller size and this collar fits great with room to spare. We had to cut it to length. It comes with 2 collars so I can use it on 2 dogs at the same time which I appreciate & the collars will fit all 3 of my dogs. I can actually add another collar to this system as it will accept 3 collars (it only came with 2 though).I had the hubs set this remote up for me. I put it on the lowest setting on vibrate. It didn’t work.I increased it and finally found it to work on 5.It’s not hurting her at all. She didn’t yelp but when I first used it but she peeled out not knowing what happened. It does make her stop barking immediately which I really appreciate. My other 2 bark but not as much.An empty spray bottle is very effective with them though. I don’t have to squirt them, I just have to show them the spray bottle and they settle down. There are 1 to 9 levels of beeping, 1 to 16 levels of vibration and 1 to 16 levels of static and double static.I won’t be using the static at all since it’s not needed. The vibration on 5 is working PERFECTLY.I am very pleased with this collar and definitely recommend.Pics of Maggie and my other 2 laying on my husband as he is taking a little nap.

Instructions are tiny and dog ate them…
I didn’t find the setup on these very intuitive, unlike others I have tried. I will continue to persevere, but a this is going to people with dogs, a large insert with a link to a pdf version of detailed instructions would be helpful. The tiny fold out included was about 2″ x 2″, and i did not have my microscope handy to read it when opening.Seriously though, one of my pet peeves is when instructions print is microscopic. Following line items can be tedious when it’s standard font size. It becomes downright annoying when it’s tiny. Make the paper tiny as well and it can be a real issue.UPDATE:When the manufacturer saw my review they contacted me and sent me a full pdf of all the instructions.Upgrading to 5 stars. Excellent customer service, fantastically responsive to customer needs. Thank you for being so diligent. Appreciate the assistance!

Our rescue puppy was jumping the fence, taking off, and toppling garbage cans….
This is easy to charge by USB, it doesn’t need a daily charge with light use. It’s very functional alongside a normal collar, just make sure to check the placement throughout the day to confirm it didn’t shift too much.Noises are audible but not incredibly loud. You can hear the chimes and buzz. Make sure for training you don’t use the highest setting for medium to large dogs, but also not the lowest, as it will have minimal impact at the lowest setting. This item was incredible for our 45 lb 8 month old puppy. She was a rescue that had always been outside, and is now adjusting to indoor and outdoor life. There have been growing pains and to further train her, we looked into this item. In 4 days we have broken her of jumping the fence, which was important for her safety. She responds to the sound alone when going near the fence, now seldomly near her jumping spots, when she gets testy, the buzz alone has helped tremendously. We rarely use the shock, but the few times that we did, it helped cement the training.

A decent dual collar set, but the remote is a little flimsy.
Update Jan/09/2025: after charging the second unit (which I thought just had a dead battery) turns out the unit itself is bad and nonfunctional. The remote has also required charging fairly often, even though it is kept OFF 99% of the time, and only used for brief training sessions.Because of this, Iâve dropped the review score down to a three. This review is for the Peture dog training collar. The Good: Dual collar. Sound, vibrate and shock options. Variable-length studs for thin/thick fur.The Bad: Remote is flimsy and the buttons feel cheap. The Ugly: Overall, nothing. The Long Review: This set is great for use in training with two dogs, and with the audible, vibrate and shock options, you have a variety of tools at your disposal dependent upon your needs. However, I would urge you – if you are not experienced using tools like this, go to a trainer. Don’t take it upon yourself to try and “figure it out”.These tools are used specifically for brief training sessions, and to help control specific behaviors. I always recommend to people, before using it on your dog, try it out on yourself first. All that said, aside from the remote being made out of a flimsy plastic, the collars and units are of a good quality. The range seems to be good, although if there are any obstacles between you and the collar, the range drops quickly, so make sure to have clear sight of your dogs when using it.Final Thoughts: Good collars and units, but a fairly cheap-looking remote. It works, but I wouldn’t keep the remote in a back pocket or purse, where it could get broken easily. Use it for short training sessions like it’s designed, and it should work well.
