I didn’t buy this for a pet. I have a microwave cover that is almost exactly the same. My computer printer is next to the microwave so I decided to cover that, too. I tried to find the same microwave cover since it has pockets but this will do just fine. I believe it will do the job as a pet mat or a dish mat. It seems to have good absorbency and the foam backing is heavy weight. I doubt that it will slip. Good packing as it’s rolled up in cellophane.

Just got this! It was easy to unroll and flatten out. It’s basically a giant mouse pad in terms of its construction: thick, black rubbery foam on bottom with a thin fabric layer on top. Looks cute and has a slight cushiony feel to it!I’ll update later if there are any issues with durability or cleanability. âºï¸
