This has had a miraculous effect on our rottie puppy. Immediately gets his attention and disrupts the behavior. It has greatly reduced the unwanted behaviors with only a few uses and it doesnt hurt him. We are extremely pleased and my husband has been joking (?) about buying stock in the company.

This is an interesting deterrent for dog training. I’ve had dogs my entire life and have taken a lot of training classes over the years. Mostly I’m an advocate of clicker training, and positive reinforcement. That said, every once in a while there are training issues where having a deterrent that does not harm the dog in any way can be a good thing. This tool definitely works. I have used it with a dog that has poor manners when greeting new dogs (once she gets past the initial sniffing she is fine). The only two cautions I would add are to be sure that if you have more than one dog, don’t have the other(s) in the vicinity when you use it. It is not super loud, but I have a very sensitive and gentle dog who was not even the intended recipient of this and it freaked her out from a distance. So probably best with dogs that are not delicate in constitution (mine is not used to any kind of negative feedback as it has never been needed for her). The only other caution I have is a question of value. It remains to be seen if one package (of three containers) is sufficient to solve the intended issue. How many times you can spray it is a function of how long you depress it, but for my dog I think the package of 3 containers is going to be enough. I think it is worth trying if positive reinforcement is not working for a specific behavior as long as you have a confident dog that won’t freak out over a different sound and smell.

Great training tool
I have a dog that at times forgets he’s not supposed to bark at every single thing that comes by the house. One or two quick sprays of this into the air and it reminds him with a firm “no”. He is a quick learner and does not like the sound so it works well for us. I love that this came in a 3 pack too. I keep one upstairs and one on the main level and the third in my dog pouch that I take on our walks. I carry it to scare away any off leash dogs we might encounter on our walks. Keep in mind this is not to be sprayed at the dog even though nothing comes out. It is simply canned air and most dogs don’t like the noise. It works well for us and for the price, this is a great training tool to keep dogs off furniture, curtail barking etc.

Gets the attention of my dogs!
I have a dog that is a serious barker. We have tried multiple devices for distracting her, or interrupting the reactive barking. Beeping collars help a little, the sonic NPS device worked for a short while too. But whenever she sees my neighbors on their deck, or thru the chain link fence when they are in their own yard- she barks. She will stop barking if I run downstairs to the yard and correct her. But I need something that stops the barking instantly.The first time I used this spray, I was not even near her. I was on the deck far away when she started barking at the neighbors for being in their own yard. I yelled âno barkâ and when she continued barking, I pushed the spray button down, and my dog stopped barking immediately and ran upstairs and into the house. Then I praised her. So, I donât even need to be near her to use this effectively.These sprays are reasonably priced, harmless and effective. I will continue to buy them and I may even get one for various parts of the house.

Harmless deterrent
I am an avid dog lover and animal lover, but I needed something effective yet humane to use against the neighbor’s two unruly and ill-behaved dogs who frequently enter my yard and behave aggressively towards me, my family, and our cats – on our own property. This dog corrector spray seemed like the perfect solution to startle and deter them without causing any harm. I am hoping that with consistent use, they will learn to stop coming on to my property. Very easy to use, convenient, and affordable. The two pack is a nice option in order to always have a backup, or to keep the cans in two different spots for convenience and fast easy access. I will probably start carrying one while walking, as well, because of these same dogs who like to chase after people walking by on the road.

Makes them STOP
The instructions say to use this loud burst of HISS in positive training. So when they’ve decided to be buttheads I make a quick HISS with this and they immediately stop. THEN I tell them what smart, good dogs they are. LOL. I don’t know if I’m doing that part right. But I’m walking with a can too, in case a stray runs up to us. Wish there was a wrist strap for a can. This product is exactly what I needed!
