Pumpkin great, but the rope is nope.
The toy made my dogs so happy. The pumkin part will last hopefully. I got this 25 ish minutes ago and the rope was chewed in half in 10 minutes.I’m sad it’s not going as I hoped, but the pumpkin toy will optimistically last. Maybe.

Definitely Great for Strong Chewers!!
I ordered this dog toy hoping it would be a great play toy for our 6 year old grandson to use to play with our American Bulldog. We have rescued bully breed dogs for over 30 years but Tucker is our first American Bulldog. He is also the most aggressive chewer we have ever had. Even at 4 years old, he still chews his toys like crazy but, sadly, he dislikes Kongs (which have long been our go-to toy for our bully breed pups). So, it has been a journey with him to find toys that he can’t destroy in a day or two. Tucker loves children & he is especially attached to our two grandsons (ages 6 & 1). He & the 6 year old have several games they love to play together but I think their favorite is “tug.” This is where our grandson holds onto one end of a rug rope/toy & Tucker grabs the other end. Usually, it ends up with Tucker dragging our grandson across the wood floors our our home with our grandson laughing with glee & Tucker growling & tugging with all he has while his tail wags so hard, it knocks over the littlest grandson if we aren’t watching closely. LOL!! Our only problem has been that Tucker tends to shred tug ropes & ingesting the string is dangerous so we had to stop buying them. My hope was this toy would be a perfect combination of tug rope & chew toy so Tucker & our grandson could resume their favorite pastime. It was a winner!! Tucker was able to hold onto the orange part of the toy while our grandson held onto the handle end. They had a blast resuming their game & Tucker showed no interest in the rope as he had the orange chew part to gnaw on. Watching them play was wonderful & when I tried the toy with Tucker, he pulled me clear off the couch!! Definitely the new favorite toy. Just wish I had ordered 2 of these as our other dog is now wanting to get in on the action & Tucker is absolutely not letting her have any part of his new favorite toy. Highly recommend! Great for strong chewer & lover of tug of war!

Has one big design flaw or it would be perfect.
First, I have to say that I have another toy made by the same company that is absolutely PERFECT in every way and seems to be truly indestructible, so I got this with the same expectation of quality. My 7 dogs–ranging from a mere wisp of fur at 12 lbs. to a big floppy-eared Golden of 125 lbs.–are ALL power chewers. There is very little that they cannot destroy given enough time (especially when they think I am not looking). However, this toy–despite many wonderful features like very thick walls, non-toxic material, good size and color–has a major flaw … the rope. In order to get the rope into the toy securely, the toy was molded and cast in two parts. That means there is a seam that runs all the way around, dividing it into two halves. Anytime you have two parts that you want to make into one whole, you have to have something to hold it together–either a mechanical bond or some sort of adhesive. In this case it appears to have been adhesive. Now the problem with adhesives, as we all know, is that sometimes they just don’t work. This is one of those cases. One of my larger dogs decided (in the 5 minutes I left her alone) to pull the rope out of the hole. Apparently she pulled so hard that it strained the sides of the “apple” and caused the seam to split open. I had to take it away from her even though it was virtually untouched except a 2″ split along the seam because I could see that the gentlest squeeze would open the seam and I was afraid she would get her tongue pinched in the slit. (Also, it would be only a matter of time before she would have the whole thing in two pieces and it would literally be seconds after that for the rest of the toy to be torn to bits. It’s strength is in being one large roundish piece that is hard to grip.)I am so sad that this toy was ruined for play so easily by simply pulling out the rope, as the walls of the toy are so thick that I really don’t think she would have made a dent in it if the rope had not been in it. I have thought of trying to glue it back together, but I do not know what sort of glue would work and would not be toxic. So now, I have this shiny, beautiful toy that no one can play with and it seems such a waste. My advice to the maker is to make this same toy without a rope or squeaker so that it can be cast in one piece. (I am an artist and I have made literally thousands of molds so I know this can be done in several ways.) My advice to customers who still want this toy–which, as I pointed out is an excellent toy with one flaw–is to use it only as a throwing toy and do not allow your dog to chew on it without supervision. If it is used with care, it should provide a lot of fun for your dog. Just be careful not to let them get carried away on this one.

A great bouncy dog toy with good durability.
Our German Shepherd loves playing âcatchy ballâ with this toy, and weâre now on our second one. The plastic used is more flexible than the heavy orange competitor product in many stores, so durability has been good but not infinite. Occasionally she just likes to chew on the âballâ portion, so after a year or so our first one finally split. When used on harder surfaces the ball can provide a nice bounce when it lands; our dog really loves this and sometimes leaps to catch it. The swivel attachment at the other end of the rope seems unnecessary, as normal wrist flexibility allows the toy to be thrown pretty far. The rope is high quality and should easily outlast the rest of the toy, as long as you donât allow the dog to chew on it.

Dog loves it more than I do!
It is heavy! Which means it can be thrown a good distance in the yard! The pup loves when you play with her using this. She is just so full of energy that sometimes she slings this thing herself! And WATCH OUT when she does! She gets to shaking her head with it in her mouth and can release at any given time and it is NOT fun getting hit by this unexpectedly! This is a toy that needs supervision to use. I wanted to take a star, but she just loves playing with it so much that I couldnât. Her first impression of immense curiosity was cute, but now she is all rawr!!! The squeaker is built in the bottom so it is somewhat difficult to make squeak. The handle is hard plastic as well. I am not complaining about the size. Larger would be even more painful getting hit by it! It will probably last a very long time, which Iâm only complaining about because of the way she launches it on her own.

This tug toy has been perfect for my golden retriever. He loves playing tug, and itâs stood up really well to his rough play. The apple shape is surprisingly durable, showing no signs of wear even after about a week of use. The handle is a nice feature, with an ergonomic grip that rotates, making it comfortable to hold while we play. Itâs also light enough to throw, so he can enjoy fetching it too. The squeaky sound is much quieter than expected, which is greatâhe can really sink his teeth into it without the noise being overwhelming. Overall, itâs a nice product and the price is very reasonable for a toy of this nature. I would definitely recommend.

This toy is a favourite for my dog. I play tossing games with her with this rope toy every day. The black handle rotates all the way around. I swing it back and forth to get some momentum and let it fly. The pumpkin is cute and durable. For $5.90, you canât go wrong. These are great toys. Be careful when tossing this toy as it has a tendency to get caught up in trees. Clear, open places are best. You can play tug of war with this toy as well. My dog loves this toy.

My dog just loves playing with this toy and for good reason too:- The “apple” is made of TPR or Thermoplastic Rubber, which is used to make medical devices for humans and children’s toys – I am assured that it’s safe for the dog, and me. It’s also very hardy; the puppy has been chewing it, hard but it barely made a dent on the apple.- The apple is colored a bright red, which helps the dog to see it and chase it.- The throwing aid really helps to throw the toy a much farther distance without over-straining my shoulder. My shoulder has been strained many times throwing regular tennis balls. I also look cool throwing it like it was Thor’s hammer â¡ï¸- My dog, still a wee puppy can’t stop playing with it, which is great in draining any surplus energy.- Because this toy requires me, a human, to play with him – i’ve also noticed that our relationship has improved. He listens to me more and is stickier than ever.- I get a good workout playing with him using this toy too actually LOLWhat could be better:- The rope should be made of sturdier material. The rope isn’t recommended to be chewed on. However, dogs being dogs, he’s been chewing on it too and sadly, the rope is fraying as a result – I expect the rope to break soon.Otherwise, this is like the miracle toy – it’s safe and sturdy (except for the rope), good for my dog, good for me, good for our relationship.

Ok so this was my favourite dog toy for my Visla breed. My guy is CRAZY like non-stop energy and just constantly wants to play. Not to mention when i try to play fetch with him, he wont actually give the ball to me unless I am holding it in some sort of way. Hes also a pretty aggressive chewer, making tennis balls just a temporary toy to him since he pops them in under a minute.Anyways to the product. This thing is AMAZING. The apple part is made from a very durable yet also squishy thick thermoplastic rubber. Its durable enough to survive countless chewing attempts by my little maniac, while also be able to be squished to activate its squeaker on the inside. I think because the design of the apple itself, it makes it so he’s not able to get a good grip on it to break off pieces, its perfect. The handle 360 aspect is great too because you can easily throw it really far without putting any effort in. Think of it like those stick tennis ball things where you launch the tennis ball rather than throwing it, this is the same concept where you’re practically using inertia to spin the apple around a couple times and letting it go, launching it into the air without putting any effort in.Here are my cons tho. The handle, also known as our throwing aid, because that’s the spot you’re holding it as you’re rotating it before launding, is made from plastic. Which isn’t a problem unless your dog is crazy like mine and runs with the apple part in his mouth and the plastic part swinging all over the place hitting me in my legs and shins which, really freaking hurts. I could also see it being broken if the dog was left unattended with it but when i used it it was strictly for playing fetch so thankfully that isn’t an issue i had to face. Now here’s the kicker i faced. I wouldn’t really say this is a con as long as you’re proactive but really just a warning. Since this thing is essentially just a toy on a rope that swings in the air in a circular motion, its gonna get stuck on things. I took my dog out with my girlfriend to play around with it on a baseball diamond, a pretty open area right? Well she managed to launch the thing so high up and somehow behind her, to the point it flew outside of the diamond and landed into a tree. So high into the tree that it wrapped itself around a branch and was left hanging there, just like a real apple! LOL.Anyways This is the best dog toy for crazy maniacs like my visla, just make sure you’re playing in an open area with no trees around….

I recently got the TLKNG Dog Rope Fetch Exercise Squeak Toy for my Bernese Shepherd mix, and he has loved it.The rope is sturdy and holds up well even with his aggressive chewing, the apple has also held up well, however the handle didnât hold up so well. I should not have left him with the toy when we were done playing fetch. My dog loves the squeaky feature, and itâs perfect for interactive play like tug-of-war or fetch. The size is good for medium to large dogs, and itâs great for both indoor and outdoor use. Overall a durable and fun toy for high-energy dogs
