UPDATE: contacted the sell and they did a wonderful job at getting back to me in a timely matter. They sent out the new sizes right away and they fit my fur babies great.Okay this is tricky. There does seem to be a sizing issue here but they are good quality shows from what I can tell so far. They didn’t fall apart right away. They are warm and soft. They go up a bit so the chance of getting the paw soaked is limited to my dog jumping in puddles or sinking in the snow. In the video I bought the red pair for my smallest dog but they were to big for her so my medium footed dog go them. The 2xl I had bought for her and my big footed dog based on the chart did not fit and slid right off. I have contacted the seller so we will see if the sizing issue is going to get corrected but if it does and I need another pair I would buy them again. Also don’t mind the dog hair everywhere we have dogs.

Horrible fitting; wish I could return
A really weird fit on these. I measured them and got the same size that corresponded to the size from other booties that fit him. My dogs paws would not stay all the way on the actual foot part. They sat much higher, leaving a lot of space in the main are so they looked pretty ridiculous. I tried so many times to get them on right and they just wouldnât go. I would have returned them, but one of them fell off on a hike in the snow and couldnât be found. I would not recommend these at all. Iâve had better luck with the $20 black booties on here. They are great either but at least they fit right.

Make sure you get the right size.
Really love these boots. Measured my dogs feet and made sure I was certain what size I wanted. Got them and they are really well made and I really like them, but my dogs feet start to slip out. It would of got a better rating if I didnât have to go through the hassle of returning them to order the correct size now. Hoping if I size down she will fit. Really need these for her because we adopted her a month ago and we think when she was on the street one or two of her paws may have gotten frost bite. If we get the right size we think these will work perfectly!!

Excellent quality!
I had a bit of trouble with sizing(all my fault), but the large is perfect at the paw, for our guy. The large opening makes them pretty easy to put on and the higher length makes them easier to secure and keep on, without mashing on his dew claws.The only thing I would change(and will modify}, is a wider wrap around Velcro strap. The 2 narrow ones secure ok, but are not easy to make sure they stay completely lined up.

4.5 stars!This year I really delved into research on dog shoes and have tried 9 different pairs for my bears. I have a video of them doing their “busy walk” when they track cats on our walks.Fastenings: I love the main velcro closure since it allows a more custom fit for each dog, and each paw! The smaller straps are great to keep the boot on the ankle and secure around the paw to avoid twisting. Also, thank you for not using d rings or loops for the velcro straps!! Those are annoying and are difficult to situate around the dew claws if they aren’t on the non dewclaw side of the leg. Some brands make each show the exact same without alternating the fasteners. Depending if your kid has dew claws and where they are, but be careful not to wrap around them at all(you can cross the straps) or secure it snugly but not too tight. You can remedy this by bandaging under and on top of the dew claw to avoid chafing. Or get toddler tube socks for the dew claws to cushion it from above and below. You can cut off the foot of the sock or keep it whole.Sizing:I bought an XL and an XXL for my big guy because while they both have longer laws than most big dog shoes can cover, I am please with the range of sizes for these boots. One’s paws are 3″x4. 5″ and the XXL accommodate him well! The other’s paws are 2.25″x3. 5″ and she took the XL that we ended up keeping.Fit: The boots are overall a little loose. And they maybe become more stretchy with time since this material is kinda like neoprene but less foamy and more felting inside. I usually put socks on the kids anyways so this doesn’t big me. Socks will also be important if you plan on walking through the winter in these (which we plan to! Very excited). I think if the material did have some of that neoprene cushion, it might get away with being loose.But I’m just glad these don’t fall off when we break into a sprint, or they step on each other’s shoes in a little excitable tangle of leashes and cat chasing. My recommendation is to size down, or order a couple of sizes to try on.Outer sole: I like the tread on these boots too. The big guy is clumsy and sometimes will trip on flat surfaces, but also on the painted lines of the crosswalks when it’s wet out (I’m also guilty of this, and it’s so scary lol) I would like to see tougher material used for the outter rubber sole since only after a a few days wearing these (that’s a total 2-3 hr walks for each day) there is wear in the tread already. But other than that the material is well bonded to the sole. No sign of peeling yet.A few things I’d like to see in future shoes:-Thicker material for the upper for an even better winterized footwear-Tougher rubber sole-More accurate fitBut overall, that’s really not much to complain about since these are very affordable and are a good design. This is coming from a big paw footwear aficionado!!

Waste of time and money!
Cute but ill-fitting & poor execution! Today we got our first snow storm in New York, so it was the perfect time to try these boots! Ok- first let me go back to the ordering process. I first ordered a large after following the measuring guide, but when I received the boots they were extremely big so I returned and purchased the medium. The boots are very very cute and stylishly designed but when I tried to put them on my pup, I had trouble fitting her paws into them. Granted she did t want to stand up while I put them on, so that made it more difficult as well. I readjusted them once she stood up and off we went into the snow. We didnât walk for more than 2 minutes when the front paws began to shift and slide off. I had to stop a few times in the middle of the snow to readjust and tighten the front booties. Very annoying. I must say though that the Velcro is very strong which I like, but the boot itself is quite ill-fitting. The medium seems too big for her front paws. I kept having to stop and adjust, stop and adjust, just so the boot wouldnât fall off completely. That was exhausting!! They didnât hold up very well through the slush either. Her paws still got wet. At one point I felt like pulling them off completely and having her go bare. I like the idea of having booties on in the snow to protect her paws from the salt. However after todays experience Iâm not so sure I will use them again. They are fashionable and cute but I need them to function, which was a fail.

The booties are as expected, great quality. Sadly, for smaller dogs the location of the straps isn’t well placed because after a mini marathon with my Peek-a-Pom (16lb Pekingese Pomeranian) in the house to test these; they slipped off.I would most likely have to buy 2 different sizes for my dog since he has large front paws and small back paws. Not only do the straps not sit right but the length of the booties cuff is not long enough.I would recommend for any dog around the 15+ lbs and have equally same size paws (on the larger size). Otherwise, I’d go for the rubber booties called Pawz.This is after buying 6 different type of booties in the span of 3 years.
